Soccer Vols take on LSU in the SEC tournament

Well...that was a fitting ending. One of our kickers misses the entire frame. In truth, LSU deserved to win the match. They were the better side and will be near if not at the top of the SEC next year. Lots of young talent.

Oh well... let's see what we can get done in the NCAAs.

Sounds like it was a hard fought match that (obviously) could have gone either way, so that kind of loss could serve as a huge motivator going into the NCAA Tournament and propel the Lady Vols into a deep run. That's my hope, anyway! :)

uninspired play...Bunny carried us again for a chance to win...guess we missed Gilroy more than I thought we would...oh, well, maybe they will step it up in the NCAA's...fingers crossed...:D

It may seem like an odd thing to say, but as much as I admire Bunny I think she is so dominant that the rest of the team tends to become spectators and just wait for Bunny to do something. Marcano, Cousins, Gilroy, and Vignola aren't guilty of that but the rest seem to be. It's going to be a big adjustment next season with Bunny gone and others having to do the scoring.

Will we host a regional ? They do, do that in soccer, right ? Kinda like softball ?

LSU just won the SEC Tournament in penalty kicks over Arkansas.
