Was the strike zone only tight for Ivy?

Actually it was tight for both pitchers. I hate to see any pitcher not get the corner. But I also remember the two umps in the Florida series calling strikes a foot off the plate.

This umpire was consistent(ly bad).

Sweep we've played three of the top five teams in the nation and went 6 and 3.

And could easily taken two more extra inning games. Left too many on base.

I got this message today on FB... thought I would share.

Raining right now, supposed to stop around lunch time. Hopefully we'll get the game in today.

Mike Davin...I honestly do not think I have ever seen a softball hit like Melissa hit yesterday. For you folks who werent there and ESPN's camera's couldnt follow it. But the ball literally went over the lights.....thats gotta be near 100ft in the air. I watched sail over the lights and everyone in the stadium including the A&M fans commented they'd never seen a hit like that. There were alot of Holy SXXX's coming from fans ha!!

Team played very well, defense, and the kids at the bottom of the lineup really put the wood to it. This team is scary talented and when they put it together its truly spectacular.

Gotta get A&M again today. Lets take this sweep and remind Texas the state wouldnt even be there if it wasnt for the Tennessee Volunteers.thought I would share....

I watched the replay several times and I noticed they couldn't follow the flight of the ball.

She hit the ball, you watched for the ball, and finally it falls way over the fence.

I would love to see a different angle that actually follows the ball.

The home plate umpire had a generous strike zone on those two key strikeouts in the 6th/7th, when A&M had a runner on third and no outs. Two call-out third strikes on pitches that were borderline outside--but we'll take them. Great series sweep, especially after giving at least one win away at florida. Lot of tight games, and you have to win tight games. This is a very good team.
