Softball Week 3 - USF Tournament

WE have to win tomorrow and go forward. We can't seem to get everything going at the same time unfortunately.

Mens ball choked, softball choked, hopefully baseball can pull out with a W. I am shocked with all these top 10 sometimes top 5 classes and UT still finds ways to lose. Uggh

I would have never dreamed they would hit a homer to win it. Single yes but Callie just doesn't give up much in the air. We are snake bit right now.

i dont wanna judge this team till we get rogers back. she can make a huge difference for this team. we need to win tomorrow and then win out till sec (that’s asking a lot but doable when looking at the schedule)

I said coming into the season this team would struggle to host a regional for the first time maybe ever. Lots of unknowns with new players, losing one of the best leadoff hitters (and the best ever after Chavanne, IMO), and two good pitchers -- one to graduation and one to transfer -- spells a recipe for struggle. I was stunned when we were picked 2nd in the conference when in reality we should've been picked 6th or 7th, even though the SEC doesn't really have any truly elite teams this season (Bama included, who is very hot and cold).

Host a regional is the goal which is going to take growth and work. Good thing is even the better teams are losing. I wasn’t there and of course could not watch but it seems we are not playing with any intensity right now. UCF sounded like a bunch of wild animals trying to get out of a cage. I didn’t hear anything from us on the radio. We seem like a very laid back in our own head team.

All these hitters are very highly ranked players if they are going to have this kind of trouble hitting the ball this team is in deep trouble. The one thing you expected was offense out of this group and the horrible showing in this tourney is concern for the season. The SEC has top pitchers on almost every team and sometimes more than one. The fact we can't muster an offense against UCF and USF may be the most disappointed I've been in a Tennessee softball team.

Basketball today will be watching that game hopefully softball will come out with a win today we need it badly.

Bases loaded one out we do not score again. If we don’t hit a homer we don’t score. This is carrying over from last year we appear to have no to few clutch hitters.
