Really! I guess if I was a lower tier Card fan I would be forced to use your ridiculous arguement. It's about all you got.... 9-3 and you brag like that would be such a great accomplishment against THAT schedule. A high school team could do better than 9-3! I think you need to go post on fan sites your own size. I hear Slippery Rock is looking for fans like you. YOUR NOT READY TO PLAY WITH THE BIG BOYS!Hmm...
1) The article says that Louisville won't play a Top 40 team; that does not equate to a "100% chance" they won't play a Top 40 team. I guarantee they play a team "receiving votes" this season and, ultimately, I think they'll tumble with a Top 25 team.
2) Barring a monumental collapse, Louisville will not finish the regular season worse than 9-3... and 9-3 would be a horrific underachievement. Louisville may lose their high-status bowl game, but they by no means will have "backed into" the game.
3) The 2013 Tennessee Vols are much more of a Division II team than the 2013 Louisville Cardinals.

I'm pretty sure I said that 9-3 would be, uh, what was that... oh, yea!
So, I guess I'm not sure what put you under the impression that I'd be touting a 9-3 season as a "great accomplishment."
It's easy to look like a powerhouse when you play a pussy schedule every year. I'll be surprised if UL doesn't lose 4 or more games every yr in the ACC.
I would love to see UL in a SEC schedule.
Ohio State softest of all. They are guaranteed a spot in the BCS Championship game.
I think Louisville could beat absolutely anyone in the SEC East this season for sure... in an isolated one-game scenario. Probably would have trouble dealing with the rigors of an SEC schedule hopping to that from the Big Eaat.
Granted, that would be 8 conference games with talent recruited as a Big East team, though. If you placed Louisville in the Big East and gave them a few years to get the talent and depth requisite of a true SEC contender, I bet the team would be very good.
Sorry, I apparently mistook this for a thread about the softest schedules in college football located in a general NCAA discussion subforum.
Oh, wait.

Fine discuss soft schedules. The problem is that you cannot make a post about, seemingly, any topic without making negative comments about Tennessee.
The mods have already advised you to be somewhat respectful of the home team. If you are half as smart as you think you are, you should take their advice.
If you think that pointing out how Louisville had more SEC wins than Tennessee last year is not at least "somewhat respectful," then I recommend you utilize the "ignore" feature available on this forum.
