I understand the urge, but we look a lot better when we don't storm the court.

Looks alot better as a team and a fan base to act like we've been there, done that. Alot classier to let the team bask in the spotlight instead of 10,000 screaming fans storming the court making the players and coaches run to keep from being mobbed.

I understand the motivation by the student body, but I hope they can restrain themselves when we beat Ky. :)

Anybody cool wanna take a crack at this one?

I am assuming you thought it was a dumb post b/c Tennessee Pride didn't elaborate on anything that was said about the game between he and his huge KU fan during the beer drinking, hanging out session.

and that would classify it as the dumbest post he has ever read in all the years he has been viewing the site?

In all the posts I've seen over the years, this is the dumbest. Sorry, being honest.

I'm not big on the Xs and Os of Basketball, maybe that's why I cannot understand your post.

Or maybe it's just because I'm not cool, either.

OK, let me spell it out.
He makes it sound like KU fans are something less than TN fans. Beneath us. And out of nowhere here's one that is his next door neighbor. He even comes over and drinks beer. One of the nicest guys you'll ever meet.

It's kinda like saying "I know a catholic guy. He seems normal. Hard to believe!"

Maybe not the dumbest post after careful consideration. Definitely the lamest.

It does look great not to storm the court, but I had one hell of a time storming it when we beat Florida in Pearl's first year.

Congratulations to the Vols:

Its one thing to loose to a team who just cannot miss, but Tennessee outplayed and out-hustled us which is very disappointing. You could just see the Vols playing with more heart than Kansas. Our guys got up 14-6 and expected Tennessee to just lay down like everyone else. Bruce Pearl did a great job getting his guys prepared for this (although I think waving the giant "T" flag was a bit over the top) and for the first time I believe Bill Self was out-coached.

I went to the game and enjoyed Knoxville. TB is by far the largest and one of the nicest arenas I've been to. One of the most notable things about the fans is that you could tell you are all genuinely proud of your team. Most schools are more concerned with booing Kansas fans and jeering our players than they are with cheering on their own team. I wasn't used to that. The group I was with felt like we were almost ignored.

All-in-all I think Tennessee will win the SEC. If they play with that much intensity and hustle there isn't a team in the nation Tennessee isn't capable of beating. I really think you all will take the SEC.

On a side note, I did run into one trashy fan in Tennessee who was very disrespectful and shouted the oh-so-original "ROCK CHALK SUCK A COCK" at us. He was wearing a Kentucky sweatshirt, though.
