Some notes/thoughts leaving Puerto Rico...

I agree about Edwards. I will be surprised if he rides the pine all season like he did today.

I wouldn't be at all surprised to see him ride the pine. I'm not saying the talent isn't there I just don't think he is ready. In the practices that I have watched he is way too soft to play bigtime D1 ball. Unless he changes that he will remain where he is.

It usually takes JUCOs, at least the ones at Tennessee, at least half a season to get acclimated. Even Bobby Maze, who was as successful a JUCO as Tennessee has had in a long time, really didn't hit his full stride until second half of his second season. SEC competition is much more demanding than those JUCO leagues.

With Hubbs coming in next year, Edwards may not get his chance at wing.

Still think he'd help this team more at the 4, rather than wing. The four spot is where he played in JUCO.

Once Maymon comes back I think we'll see 7 guys get the majority of the minutes. Golden, McBee, Richardson, Maymon, Stokes, McRae and Hall. Moore, Chevious and Edwards will get smaller minutes (5-15 a game).
