Some opinions

No offense taken, I understand what you mean. I just think that you should be able to take a class or two that specializes in one career choice.

you actually are but probably don't realize it. The thing is your career choice right now is not going to work out for 98% of all HS students.

Wouldn't something like student gov't give you a little more experience than a HS poli sci class? Not to mention it looks good on a college app

How dare you!

funny how you just knew

Wow, I wrote something because I was bored and it blew up like this. I know i'm not the smartest person in the world, but I just had some opinions on some things and decided to write them.
if you're willing to listen to people older than you, then you are at least a couple of steps ahead of most people your age....

Start learning everything you can right now - history, math, english, literature, science, etc. There is no knowledge that is useless knowledge. Learning is a continuous process through life. You don't finish when you complete college ....

You will be so thankful later in life if you try to absorb everything that you can while your young. Despite what any aptitude test will tell you, you can do anything you put your mind to. In trying to decide on a career, talk to adults who work in the field, not professors who teach it in college....

good luck!!! :good!:

Can't go wrong studying keystone light and giving hot coeds a Cleveland Steamer now and then.

Long way to go chief, just keep your head out of your ass as best you can and learn about what interests you on your own.

He'd be better to start out with Dutch Ovens to figure out who's gonna stick around for the Cleveland Steamers.

I agree with pj on this one. You can prep now for what you decide. For instance, if you want to be an engineer you would be a step ahead of the game if you were to take AP calculus in high school. If you want to be a doctor take an extra biology class, or human anatomy, or extra chemistry before you start college. If you want to be a mechanic, take shop...etc.

It's a fact of life in high school and college you have to take crap that doesn't interest you in the least, but it is a means to an end. At least that is the way I saw it.

Just some useful advice I would pass on to somebody like you...I'm an engineer, and if I had to do it all over again I would have taken all my history, english, etc at a community college and waited until I got to a 4 year institution to take the stuff that really interests me. Nobody says you have to bust your arse at a harder school taking classes you consider in the way of what you really want to be.

After looking at urban dictionary, no and no.

The only TRUE way to find a compatible woman is to give her a Dutch Oven. You may not understand it now, but if she can take your manly gas, she's a keeper. My wife passed the test.

Nice. Congrats?

There is also a minimum of 20 different farts in the car that your possible future wife must pass as well. This is a MUST to see if you can travel together on long trips. Eat plenty of Taco Bell and drink a protein shake the day before though.

From what I have read of the politics forum, most threads turn in to fighting and end up with someone looking stupid.
