Someone come defend the head stomper

his point went way over your head didn't it? the stomping wasn't staged however the protester part was planned out. here's the thing everyone on here has said they do not accept the stomping. it's one idiot. funny how the left blows up one incident when there are several incidents of from the other side but it's a non issue with them.
Hey fella, this was half way tongue in cheek. I was civil about it, you jump to an insulting intelligence gig. I am a moderate not on the left. It was more than one guy involved, only one stomper though. Here's the deal, both sides have their lunatic fringe types. The animosity and dialogues in this country is so venomous, that more and more instances like these WILL happen. Was it correct for her to do what she did? Probably not, but the reaction wasnt warranted either. We have people showing up on the outskirts of Presidential speeches packing heat. Now do you honestly think that it was just 2nd Amendment rights on display? I saw it as outright intimidation, and I'm a CC permit holder. Hate-filled rhetoric has repercussions. The lunatic fringe sees this as a green light for 'by any means necessary.' The hardest part about freedom is standing up for the right of someone to peacefully express the total opposite views of your own. We can disagree without being disagreeable. Have a good one.

clearly, she had it coming. The audacity it took for her to put on shoes and leave her husband's kitchen.

Women's suffrage does not give women the right to incite a mob at political events. Why is this such an either or debate? Why is it viewed that, since the head stomper was wrong, that the looney woman that was posing an immediate threat to a candidate must have been right. Can they not both be viewed as unacceptable acts of absolute stupidity?

1. insulting intelligence, man you take things way to personal.

2. can you provide links to people showing up outside of Obama's speeches packing heat? to be honest this is the first i've heard of it.

3. so you're saying that the tea party/republican party is are "hate filled"?

4. More than one guy involved? So the guy restraining the lady who was under cover in a disguise trying to get to push her way to the candidate was acceptable, but the guy who restrained her is not? i think we can all agree the stomper is a complete idiot. the other guy did nothing wrong or violent.

btw, what are your thoughts on the panther party showing up to the polls during election day?

1. Not sensitive at all. Very thick skinned. Trust me, in my former line of work one couldn't survive if they were sensitive, just don't think intelligence remarks or inferences are conducive to any discussion. It's a part of 'gotcha' politics.

2.http://www.thefoxnation.com/anti-obama-rally/2009/08/18/dozen-armed-guns-protest-obama-speech

3. Never identified any party in reference to being hate-filled. I said hate speech inspires the lunatic fringe (inferring BOTH sides).

4. The guy holding her down was a bit overly aggressive IMO. In his defense, he may not have known the intent of the woman. She bears a measure of responsibility for her methods also not necessarily the message which she has a right to express (for being restrained NOT stomped). Agreed: the stomper is a COMPLETE tool.

5. As to the Black Panther Party: intimidation or the appearance thereof at voting locations is inexcusable in a democracy by ANY group, right, left, or in between.

It is sad that with all the enemies/problems that we have in the world that the flame of hatred (and it has come to that) has been stoked by politicians and their minions (both sides) in the name of 'country' that it has AMERICANS ready to rip each other's throats out, literally. Our biggest threats have and will come from individuals that wrap themselves in the flag, IMO.
I have left leaning beliefs on some issues and right leaning on others. As stated before, we can disagree without being disagreeable. My opinion.....:hi:

google search obama speech guns. I wasn't a fan of Bush at all, but I respected the OFFICE and wished him no ill will. Wishing death on one's President is kinda childish and just wrong IMO.

"security" "do something" "may have taken it too far"

All hilarious. Some people are so hyper-partisan they lose all perspective.

what would you expect to happen if you ran up to a Senate candidate's car and tried to shove something in the window?

Wonder what the reaction would be if somebody bum-rushed Nancy Pelosi's or Harry Reid's vehicle with an unknown object and tried shoving it in the window?

Who the Hell is she to protest. Not in this country. I wish a bunch of men would teach that uppity woman a lesson.

So she went to provoke what happened and in a UNIQUE occurrence for TP types... someone took the bait. She wasn't just protesting. She had followed Paul to his car.

I will ask again... where were you when SEIU thugs were going out to intentionally find victims for violence?

Look at the video. Look at the still pictures.

You are absolutely right... we all appreciate confessions here. You are decidedly hyper-partisan to the point of having completely lost perspective... and your grip on objective, visible reality.
