A trade to anyone is very unlikely. Peyton's bonus is due on March 8, that's before the start of the league year. My opinion is he will either be cut or back with the Colts.

If anyone is going to over pay, it'll be the Redskins.

This.

However, as much as I despise the Cowboys, this would be good for Peyton if he can still play. He would have more to work with in Dallas and a shot to get another ring. I think Indy is officially where they were in 98. I can't see this happening.

One thing i could see Peyton doing, is taking less money to be on a super bowl contender. Dallas def isnt great but atleast it has a pulse, stud rb in Murray if he fully recovers, and some very good wr's. Ive been told Peytons arm strength is better now compared to 2-3 years ago, the surgery was a success.
Like i say, nothing may come of it, the colts will want fort knox with the rooms actually full of gold.

If he is the qb he was before surgery, I cant imagine the damage he would do with Witten, Robinson, Bryant, Austin, Murray, Jones, and co. I would rather see him go out with in that situation as opposed to going to a doormat

Gonna go ahead and put it out there. Peyton will be a Cowboy next year. Romo will be a Brown. Browns have 2 extra first round picks which they got from the Falcon's. Trade some picks to Dallas and Dallas trades them to Indy and then the NFL will have a story to talk about all summer long. Peyton and Eli in the same division. After watching that game last night Jerry Jones looks done with Romo. Peyton would be a good fit. Dallas has a lot of weapons.Book it!!!!!!!!

I would crap myself and be very mad about it. Peyton come play for my boys? Hell yes! But, it would be another dumb jerry move. We need a secondary and an off season to work out the o line. Romo isn't the problem. It would be throwing away money to fix a non existent problem while ignoring our true problems. We do need to draft over mcgee. On the other hand...Peyton to the boys? Hell yes!

I love Manning but it would be a terrible move for the Cowboys. O-line can't block, need a whole lot of work on defense. Romo is good enough to win a Super Bowl, would rather see them put their effort towards more glaring needs. Of course, if it did happen, I would love seeing Manning with the star on his helmet.

I don't see this happening. Jerry sucks as a gm, but he loves Romo who isn't even a problem for this team. We need defensive help. That much should be obvious.

Although I could definately see Washington throwing out another 100 mil to try to get him.

Romo might not be the problem, but he's not Peyton Manning, either. Manning would make an already decent offense that much better. Not to mention he's not nearly as likely to put that suspect defense in some of the tough spots Romo has put them into. They'd at least instantly be the team to beat in their division, hands down.

from some usually reliable people. colts may be in talks with the cowboys for peyton Manning. nothing may come of it, but ive heard from 2 different people now. If true, im sure the colts will ask for way to much.

There's no way they can ask a lot for a guy with a suspect neck and $28M guaranteed coming.

Already been said on ESPN...Colts will release Peyton and not trade him. Peyton and Erseray (or however you spell his name) are going to work on this together..Peyton is due like 20 million in March and they are going to try to figure if Peyton will be almost ready by then..if he is on a good road..they he gets the money and stays..if not..he gets released.

Oh yes, the notorious "source". How come we never hear who theses "sources" are?

I GUARANTEE, Peyton Manning will not be a Cowboy in 2012. Will not.
