James Franklin never had TN tags on his car the whole time he was at Vandy (kept his Maryland tags)

Wouldn't he have had university issued vehicles like most coaches do? I know for a fact that WKU buys their coaching staffs Tahoe's, surely Vandy does as well

There was an ESPN special done on him and it showed him driving around in a Tahoe w/ MD tags. They may lease him one but he might not have been driving it

Of course Kiffin is leaving at the end of the year. His family isn't even living in AL

Monte stayed in a hotel and Lame couldn't even tell drivers where he lived to get him home from Tyson McGhee when he was in Knoxville. Hamilton got played like a fiddle.

That wasn't hard to do. Good old hambone, but he still managed to take UT for a million when he resigned. Our administrators must be really dumb.

Yeah pretty much but said it was a build up and the tn game put it forefront. He and lane really don't like each other is what he said.

Yankee vol. I understand.

Bama is the least school I would want to have knowledge on. my main sources are at ut. He's just a bama grad of the family

Then again he could be joking with me. He's that type

Thanks for clearing that up.

Good ole' Joey Freshwater.

I'm not really much of one for vague internet rumors, but I wouldn't be shocked if Kiffin and Saban part ways at the end of the season. The two are simply polar opposites in attitude and lifestyle. I get that Kiffin is a generally a good OC (though Jancek ate his lunch last weekend), but it always struck me as an odd hire from a "culture fit" perspective.

Perhaps this has already been stated, but in my opinion, it may still be too soon and too risky for a major Power 5 conference team to take a flyer on Coach Kiffin/Freshwater based on the baggage that comes with him. I believe it’s more likely he lands in the NFL as an offensive coordinator, especially if Seattle OC Darrell Bevell lands a head coaching gig.

Joey Freshwater rumors strike again, come on guys, on a Vols board this makes us look lame sauce. The only thing worse would be using terms like Lame sauce.

Boinking a booster's wife is probably not included on the list of Things an Offensive Coordinator Should Do to Remain Employed.

Also, publicly mocking your boss's lack of height in a speech captured on video doesn't seem very bright either. (vid was posted here a while back, but I've no idea how to hunt it down)

Kiffin to Miami. Please.

He won't end up at Miami. Haven't really heard his name as being a candidate. I think Cristobal ends up in South Beach. UCF on the other hand is a much better possibility. I don't see Lane getting a big name job anytime soon.
