He played for the Georgia Stars and is from Georgia. Same AAU team as probably CCM's biggest 2014 target, Jalen Lindsey, here's Jalen's reaction...

“@Jlindsey21: Congrats to my homie @ajdavis3 on the Commitment to UT!! congrats bro #Vols”

Jalen just visited UT and enjoyed the visit, also plays for a HS who's coach really like CCM.

This move for Davis very well could have been a strategic move by CCM, and not solely about Davis' contribution. Not saying he's not going to contribute, because I think he'll be good...but I think CCM is eyeing more from the Georgia Stars.

Man I hope you're right.

On a side note, weird little story from the football game Friday. I was going into gate 14, and the lines were just bottlenecking. Here comes CCM and the bball team. Several observations:

1.) Stokes. Holy ****. Big.
2.) McBee is smaller than I thought he was.
3.) Maymon was acting all goofy, he was pumped just to watch the game. Even had a quick word exchange with me; seems like a great guy.
4.) I didn't see any of the recruits, but I didn't know if they would be attending the game with the bball team or not.

And here's the "cool story, bro" part:

When Kenny Hall entered, the UT security guard patted him down and found a Bud Light in his pocket (as far as I know, Kenny is 21, so big deal if he had a beer. If he tried to bring it in, make him toss it and let him pass. JMO.). Then, security denied him entrance to the game until a KPD officer came over to "assist." The officer said something along the lines of "Did you throw it away?" Security's response: "Yeah." KPD: ""Then let him in." Security: "I can't do that." KPD: "Why not? You threw it away. He's 21." Security: "I just can't." KPD: "Then what the hell did you need me for? Moron." :eek:lol: KPD just walked off while security tried to "handle the situation". My point is, I just thought it was interesting to actually see how much some people with just a smidgen of authority try to assert it so strongly when they have their own "big fish" (literally/figuratively). At any rate, I'm sure nothing came of it.

And, this bears repeating: Stokes. Holy ****. Big.

On a side note though..does this sum up kenny or what? Look i have no problem with these guys drinking, even if not 21, but make smart decisions.

Trying to sneak beer into a football game as an athlete just isn't a smart decision, and one i doubt CCM would be fond of, its the appearance. Little kid standing next to him and sees this scene go down, what's his impression now of Kenny and probably the basketball team???

Why is it I always forget Hall is even on the team? I hope he gets it together this year. If not, I guess it gives Yemi more xp for next year.

I see him not being on the team this year. CCM don't put up with the shenanigans Pearl did. I can't even imagine if CCM coached Scotty or Tyler Smith how they would have turned out.

Please...I sneak a lot more than beer into every single game that I go to. Granted, I'm not an athlete, but let's not make it more than it was. If anything let's call him out for sneaking a cheap beer in. That's not going to get a 200+ lb guy very far. Someone buy that young man a pint of bourbon.

Because his play on the floor is very forgettable. His actions off the court appear to be of the, "I simply don't give a crap" variety. Losing Hall after this season will be addition by subtraction.

I don't leave any behind...that chit is expensive. I gotta get all amped up during the game so I can come home to the message boards and light up every coach, player, and fan who offends me.

Lulz. I'm not saying Hall is a terrible person, but I believe we should hold athletes to higher standards. If I were Martin, I would smack Kenny on the back of the head for trying to do that. Nothing wrong with partying IMO, but just a stupid idea to bring a single beer to football game where you risk being reported to Student Judicial Affairs. Not anywhere near worth it IMO.

Bingo, just not smart.

If you'd have told me the story and said guess who, Kennny would've been choice 1,2 and 3.

Stop with the bulls**t. People have been sneaking beer and liquor into stadiums for decades. Unnecessary response and you really should apologize for it.

It's not smart for a player already once suspended and in serious trouble of having his minutes taken away to do something so trivial, silly, and lame to possibly get in trouble, like bringing a beer to the stadium. That's the point.

If this is true.

He's in college. It's a football game where everyone has been drinking. What is he going to get in trouble for if it isnt opened? I'm sure I can walk around with an unopened beer if I feel like it. Stadium rules dont allow it? Then throw it away and its over. There is nothing to get in trouble for if you are 21. It's a ridiculous exaggeration to call him an idiot.

His trouble is not related to bringing a single unopened beer in a stadium above the age of 21. Get off your high horse.

I didn't call him an idiot. I'm saying it's not the best decision he should be making, especially in his situation where one more strike and he's done. Is something going to happen? Probably not. But the point remains that Kenny probably shouldn't be doing like this, considering his stance with the team.

If, again, this is true.

I doubt stadium officials would report any student, athlete or not, for what Kenny allegedly did, but they certainly have the right to. UT is supposed to be a dry campus. An athlete, like Hall, is well aware of the rules and consequences. I know the fact that UT claims it's a "dry campus" is a joke, but Hall, being on Martin's sh!t list is indeed an idiot for trying to bring a single beer into Neyland. I mean, what is a single beer gonna do for him? A less understanding usher may have reported him to Student Judicial Affairs. Stupid idea, poor execution of stupid idea.

Now where in the original story or analysis was Kenny not acting dumb?

One a side note imagine Bray bringing in a beer to TBA, I'm sure he wouldn't have a problem "throwing" it away haha.

It won't take much for this prediction to come true--Kenny is a senior
