Sometimes a loss is good.

I actually feel good right now. We played like crap tonight. Really Hooker played like crap. But in my opinion he’s man enough to bounce back stronger. I’m sensing a rematch and I like our chances. Defense played very good tonight... offense will be there next time

We will just be better prepared on how tbey will attack us if we were to play them again. I don’t think we were near as bad as we looked today but sometimes that’s just the way it goes

This season definitely shows how important involvement from those in the stands is. When we play ga on a neutral site, hopeful there is more orange than red in the stands…

With the playoffs now there have been a whole lot more 1 loss champions. A loss brings some teams back down to earth and makes them refocus on the task ahead.
I think we’ll learn from this, Georgia better hope they don’t play us in the playoffs.. they won’t have those muts barking all game making it impossible for our offense to get in rhythm.
The good thing about the playoffs is.. you get a chance for some payback.

Win out in spectacular fashion. Losing to #1 on their field, in the rain, with that crazy crowd, we can still slide in at #4. Get UGA (Ugh..a) on a neutral field and see how it goes.
You didn't lose to #1. You were #1 and you were pretty much dominated.

The path is easier this way. Missouri, South Carolina, and Vanderbilt are W's. Georgia will play LSU, or Ole MIss in Atlanta while Tennessee waits for chips to fall, and the chips will favor as long as Tennessee takes care of the next three games.

I can't agree that our defense played good tonight. The secondary gave up big plays which set the tempo---same thing that happened in the Florida / Bama game. Our line is pretty good at stopping the run, but we don't have guys who can cover even when we know it's a pass play coming.

So, Tennessee lost to the team that will presumably be #1 this coming week. Is that really such a big damn difference? You came here just to post that $hit? Characterize it however you want, it was 14 points on the scoreboard. Now pi$$ off.

I think getting ranked #1 in the playoff was the worst thing that could have happened. That kind of stuff affects you. I would have preferred to have been the lower ranked team now in hindsight.

We'll be fine and the Dogs were better yesterday on their home field. We did not play our best game, but I'd kind of like another chance at them this year on a neutral field. GBO!!!

I agree. This team has improved so much over the last two years. I was afraid of how they would handle success. We can now analyze our team and correct mistakes and move forward. We were not the only top teams to lose yesterday, hello Alabama, Clemson, and not a good showing from Ohio State. Their losses should keep Tennessee from falling too far. Win out and still have a place in the CFP. GO VOLS!

I don't know if it's a big difference. I do know it's more accurate.
