Check out this propaganda video from Vandy posted on coaching search.com. Remember that Dooley celebration video taken from the locker room after the TN win over Vandy? Well, here's their version and you best believe they're using it to send a message.

Bottom line, this crap should NEVER happen again!

Video: Behind the scenes of Vanderbilt's win at Tennessee

By the way, I only posted this because I think it's critical to understand the importance of how winning from the bottom up will be how we rise back to our rightful place among the CFB elite.

Know your opponents, and known them well.

It's stupid for anyone to get mad over this. They won a big game against us. They should be happy.

I'd be worried if they were a recruiting threat, but they're not. This short time period is the best years Vandy football will see for another 100 years. Let them enjoy it.

Meh. They're Vandy and things will get back to normal. Way too many UT fans are getting their jimmies rustled by Vandy.

Hurts to watch. Maybe this should be shown to the Vols prior to 2014 games for motivation. Would like for our team to learn how to win again.

this is just funny. Vandy acting like they are national title contenders because they beat one of the worst Tennessee teams of my 32 year life.

Meh, it's their moment in the sun.

And if it makes you mad, think of it this way. When they have their "time to shine" they mean trips to the Liberty Bowl, Music City Bowl, and the Bell Biv Devoe Compass Bowl.

When we refer to our "time to shine", we mean SEC and National Championships.

Boom.

A lot of good responses. Agree, this is (correction, was) Vandy's time. It has now come time for that to end.

However, I don't think we're going to see a significant bump in total performance until 2015. Until then, I think we'll see some playmakers emerge, but I don't think the whole team will begin to really gel until we get to Team 119. I'm trying to remain patient.

Minute we start beating them, the only thing we will hear from Franklin is whining. Until then, they have the right to celebrate and there's not s*%t we can say about it. GBO

Lulz at WR Josh Smith dropping the game winning TD on 6:11

There were 2 key plays in the game that cost us the game. The pass play you described....and Pig's block in the back that cost us a TD.

This is what Butch Jones has said from day one. Playing like champions...winners...this give up attitude that Dooley bestowed on this program in tight games has to go...STEP UP and SEIZE THE DAMN MOMENT! Make plays when you can because in a game...you may only have 1 or 2 shots to win it.

Our players blew those opportunities...Vandy's didn't. It is as simple as that. You have to be responsible and step up when called on. This is why I doubt Josh Smith will ever see the field again after this class of WR's come in. He has to many drops. He couldn't catch a cold in U.T.M.C.'s Emergency Room Department with every patient sneezing in his face. :cray: :ill_h4h:

Or maybe it won't because we don't care enough about Vandy to worry about it. Vandy has hit their peak the past two years, while Tennessee has hit rock bottom, but it won't be that way for long.

Yes but it doesn't matter. Vandy could go 11-1, winning the East but losing in the SEC Championship, and still fall to the Outback Bowl; and even then the Outback Bowl probably wouldn't want them because they wouldn't bring hardly any fans.

Their best seasons in program history have brought them to (a) the Music City Bowl; (b) the Liberty bowl; and (c) the Compass Bowl. Puts things into perspective.

You guys said the same things last year. We better start giving a damn. This isn't 1999 anymore. We have been perennial 5-7/6-6 team for the last 6 years. We have been beaten by Vanderbilt two years in a row, the last one in our stadium.

Trying to act as if nothing is wrong and that we don't fear certain things is why the program is in this shape.

For the video. There's nothing to be "ticked off" about. CJF had a good speech, his team won the game, they sang a song. We do the same things in a win.

Just a few years back Vandy signed a 3-year home-and-away contract with MTSU to play the first 2 games at Vandy then the 3rd at MTSU. This was seen as the beginning of a big cross-town rivalry that would become a tradition for both schools.

Needless to say MTSU won the first two games at Vandy, and then Vandy bought their way out of the third to save any further embarrassment.

They beat us 2 years in a row while we were at the absolute lowest point in the entire history of our football program. If that's what it takes for them to win a couple against us, so be it...let them have their fun.

Soon they will be back to the laughing stock of a team that couldn't even win Middle TN, much less the "state championship".

I never said that I wasn't upset with how the past few seasons have transpired. I'm not happy at all. Tennessee is too prestigious of a program to have fallen so far, but then again when you botch two hires after firing a HOF head coach, it's not surprising that we are where we are. I agreed with the firing of Fulmer, but Kiffin was a terrible and risky replacement. Dooley never belonged in the SEC as a head coach or anywhere in college football IMO.

That being said, I'm not worried about Vandy or them claiming to be the school of Tennessee, because they never will be. They're enjoying their peak while it lasts. They may have beaten Tennessee, Georgia, and Florida, but they also played each team while they were plagued by key injuries. It was the perfect storm for them. Not making excuses, just being realistic. Jones has Tennessee on the right track, and I'm confident that we will Rise To The Top.
