Sorry to Break Up the Feeding Frenzy

Hardwood tends to deal with facts, rather than pure conjecture. Many posters don't know how to do with that, especially MHF.

Fact...
You provide no analysis of NCAA basketball.

This thread was started to say Pearl haters are having a field day yet Pearl hasn't done much to concern us other than lying about a minor violation.

A Kentucky fan who I have enjoyed talking about basketball with on this board and a few people...very few...the guy whose idiocy created my signature who changed his name and now calls me a douche and a few guys who wanted to make sure they work in the legal profession (as paralegals for hat?) showed up to flame.

Also a new spelling of ideology was tested out and someone does not know the difference between there and their.

Fact...criminals prefer Yankees hats as a group. So does the cast of Jersey shore.

Yankee hats and Yankee fans are two different distinctions. Hell, more people wear Yankee hats because of Jay-Z than they do because of the Yankees. Ironically, most all of them are not Yankee fans. Its only a symbol.

As for you knowing the preference of hat enjoyed by the idiots on Jersey Shore, I'm ashamed of even you.

What's funny is mhfool claimed in another thread that he never even cares for baseball. Yet he is still able to question others fandom.

Fact...you continue to clearly reveal your serious mental limitations
Fact...Your endless rambling about things that you have absolutely no knowledge about continues unabated.
Fact....All knowledgeable posters consider you a complete idiot.
Fact....You consistently offer only predictions based on absolutely no factual information.
Fact....You are a Hat want-a-be, but aren't in the ball park of pulling it off due to your obvious mental limitations.
Fact...most posters on this board would be pleased if you went away and never came back.

I can understand people being very critical of Pearl, but some of it reeks of piousness. I think that's the problem that others have with it.

That's hilarious. Pearl plays his "I'm the Last Honet Man In College Basketball" act, all the while being a snitch, a liar, and a 'AA scofflaw, and now his supporters want to accuse others of piousness. Quality stuff.

So it's a one way street?

You should have added something about fictitious dinners with USC players at Calhoun's. Since the only visitor from SC the UTAD reported to the 'AA was Malik Jackson, we have to assume MHFluffer is either in cahoots with Dooley to break 'AA rules or is a flat out liar, like his boy Bronzer Bruce. We report, you decide.

Hat claims he has me on ignore...but he also claimed in a now tragically deleted thread that he was getting "reports" on what I write...

He said we would not get a visit from any USC players. I said we would definitely get visits and my guess was we would get 3 players, 1 DL and 2 OL.

We got Malik and that is all. Kiffin was able to keep the OL we talked to and tried to get to come visit.

Interesting how there is an attempted revision to try to make up something I never said, and to try to make it seem like Hat knew ANYTHING about this.

He openly mocked me for suggesting we would get a transfer from USC. He was completely and totally wrong. He is probably still unaware that we did speak by phone with several other players, but only Malik ended up visiting.

Why is Hat examining what the NCAA received from Hamilton? I would not be surprised one bit if he turned over any rumor he has heard about Bruce Pearl, Ed Orgeron, Lane Kiffin etc to the NCAA. He is our board's Linda Bensel Meyers, except she did not say she was a fan while rooting against our athletic programs.

He does not have a single friend in the current UTAD or UT football office. Kyle is gone, and no one else wants to endure the name dropping to get the free booze.

The appearance of piousness results from those who are critical of Pearl for being dishonest, yet their own MO is to name call and lodge personal attacks. Both are deplorable.

Some people like Hat can make a mountain out of a mole hill. Maybe he wants to bring back Buzz.
Yeah, I'm the one who pulled the staff off the road and ripped about 2 mil or so out of their salary. I'm the one making the decision to run this on OTL and make it headline news on every college basketball site. It's all me. I often underestimate my power.

I have noticed that you have become quite acerbic in the last few months, MHF.

What's the deal?

It is not just the last few months. Seems since Eddie Gran left there have been some dark clouds around the programs I obsess over most and more people (probably not readers but certainly commentators) on here gloating about our failures.

I also actually crave some fun debate about some things but it is hard to find. Lots of name calling.

I definitely do my part and fail in that area as well.

If I was in a sports bar with a lot of the guys on here I would probably enjoy their company.

Your use of repentance in Greek was unexpected and made me realize that I would probably enjoy real conversation with you as well.

I'm in a sports bar now, actually. Drive to Bowling Green and let's chat. I will order you a cosmopolitan and have it waiting.

By the way, I'm making the Pittsburgh trip we discussed. As an added bonus, Robert Morris is at home against Youngstown State that Saturday night. That's four games in two days with at least 5 of the 8 teams having a realistic shot at being in the 'AAs. The Steel City is also a pretty good town to find some fun.

Sounds incredible. My fun trip before the high school season starts is Jay Wright's Coaching Clinic at Villanova on the 16th. I'm getting up early the 15th so I can make it to their practice that night and then the clinic is the following day. It will be a long 10 plus hours alone on the road but I'm excited.

Good call. They do a great job with their Midnight Madness stuff. It's a great show.

Yeah, thats a hell of a weekend for hoops in a great city. Unfortunately, our game is in Louisville on a Wednesday night, so other than the two scheduled games there's not much going on.

I love going to the SEC tournament, but I am actually considering taking a trip up to NYC to watch the Big East tourney at the Garden. Thats great basketball anyway you slice it, and Louisville should have plenty of seats to scoop up out of their allotment.

On a totally random side note, WKU has managed to buff up their schedule this year. They have Slick Rick bringing Louisville to Diddle Arena as well as Darrin Horn coming back with SC for an unwelcomed homecoming. With the Cardinals horrible recruiting class coupled with their best player in that class ruled ineligible for the season, one might see another WKU win like 08'.
