Exactly. Buccees starts the hiring process several months before they open each location. They even have the starting pay listed. You're right those other businesses do have plenty of time to plan. The problem is they don't want to pay what Buccees is paying and offer 3 weeks vacation (another benefit Buccees offers from day one).

Maybe it's always been this way, and I've just now decided that it's annoying, but between the numerous standing ovation breaks over nothing of actual substance by the Democrats, and all of the theatrics by Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene ("Hey, Look at me! I'm important!"), the State of the Union Address is just another political circus.

Everything is done for the benefit of the cameras now.
