I've quit trying other brands. Peets Dickson or whatever was the last I tried and hated it.

I buy my starbucks dark Italian roast from Amazon. $11 and change for an 18oz bag. Sometimes it goes up to a little over $12. Every once in a while it's not available but their French dark roast is and it's just as good.

Starbucks coffee is scorched. The beans are roasted at too high a temperature. Their coffee tastes burnt. It’s blech.

I don't drink the stuff, but wife does. She brought home some of that Peet's stuff... Let me tell you, the house smelled like peat. That was the worst smelling coffee I have ever smelt

Peet’s Dickson sucks, but I love Peet’s.

The Sumatra is my favorite of the stuff found everywhere. The local places in the Bay Area have a few really good ones.

I get the Starbuck's bags here when they are 7.99: Italian Roast, French Roast, even tried the Caramel
at 7.99 dey like a sore pecker and can't be beat
PS The Dunkin Hazelnut is pretty dam good, too

Peet’s Major Dickason’s is awful. It even smells bad in the bag.

Peet’s dark French Roast is good. Our locally-roasted coffee supplier sold out to some sort of chillin’ tea-drinkin’ place and stopped carrying our dark roast beans.

So we’re back to Peet’s.

Repeat: Major Dickason is awful. Don’t go there.

Trump already bringing coffee prices down. Amazon has the Starbucks Italian dark roast at $10.75 for the 18oz ground bag. That's the lowest I've seen it.

@Behr I don't know what I'll do if Starbucks ever discontinues production of their Italian roast. It's the only blend I make at home that I really, really enjoy now.

Same here. I tried several times to find something I liked better when it got really expensive, but I never found it. Their French dark roast is close, but it's not the Italian.

$10.75 for the 18oz is a good price. I have 4 in my cart.
