I'm also hoping for a big splash on signing day. I think Kiffin likes to hold back and reveal good news at a later date - kinda like he did with our coaching hires.

We will not be getting Teague. Why in the world would any player want to come here over Florida who has won the national championship two out of the last three years?

I sense the sarcasm and think it's clever, but UF is still in freaking Gainesville, FL. There aren't enough national championships in the history of college sport to make that place bearable.

Almost everyone was reporting it was Kiffin 3 days before he was hired and thinking Tyler was staying wasn't exactly a huge surprise. I hope it's true but there are thousands of people that could be sources for your two examples.

Helps to win those, but recruits want to play out the gate and not be redshirted which is typically what can happen at a talent stacked school. Not all top talent wants to go that route, however, a lot still do.

The city sucks, but they are collecting some talented co-eds lately who don't realize how cold north central florida can become.

Because a Super bowl Championship > College Football Championship. Kiffin is fixing to start sending tons of kids to the pros, meanwhile Florida gimmicky offense does not fare well in the pros.

I really hope we land Teague. I live with a couple guys who went to high school with him and are pretty good friends with him, sounds like he could be a huge addition to our already loaded secondary and the guy has really bulked up in the past few months. One of my roommates said that when they hung out over the break Ol' Nick Satan called him all the time. It would be great to tick bama fans off even more. Lastly, getting Teague, with the addition of Brown, would be a huge step in building a fence around Tennessee for our in state recruits!

Every once in a while you get a QB that is perfect for your system...but those opportunities are maximized when you have a more traditional pro-style system as opposed to a spread one. Florida's system is really effective, don't get me wrong (more effective than anything we have done recently), but I very much prefer a more "normal" (pro) offense.
