The only deadweight in the former East just hired one of the best coaches in the nation. Ugh.

maybe we can become like the big east & start getting 6+ teams into the dance now our conference is getting stronger

I'm hoping this happens. Kentucky, Vanderbilt, Florida, Mizzou...then possibly add in Tennessee, Arkansas, South Carolina, Texas A&M, Alabama, State (if they make a good hire).

We could turn into a 6-8 team bid NCAA tourney conference now.

I hope everyone here realizes that in 2 or 3 seasons once Haith loses Andersons players and has his own classes in, they will be mediocre as hell, just like his Miami squads. They will make some tourneys and miss some.

I think they'll have trouble starting next year.

Who cares about a "splash"? True coaching ability > popularity among fans. Illinois fans are stupid and therefore think John Groce is a bad hire because he's fairly unknown, but they don't realize he did a great job at Ohio.

I'd take him. People said the same about Bill Self when he was at ORU and Tulsa.

If you don't want BP as a coach because you are concerned about slimyness, but want Frank Martin, you should be in the foolish hall of fame
