just saying why UConn attendance may be down as well 15.00 - 22.00 per at the XL Center (last time I saw). Im not sure of the price on campus (Gampel), Webster Arena or down at the casino where the CT Sun play. Im not sure if the 4 venue are helping or hurting (fannies in the seat or do the prices make up for the lack of fannies).
You're only thinking I'm stirring because that's what you want to think. You and I both know that many think Connecticut is some "rich" "wealthy" state.
Not again guys....No more real estate banter.
OK, So. Carolina is number one in attendance. The real competition is on the court, not in the stands.
I think it is WONDERFUL that SC has over 12,000 fans per game. Hope it's even higher next season.
Also hope all women's college basketball teams have 12,000+ fans at their games. Hope TN has 20,000+ fans at their games.
Love the game. Want the women's teams to have many fans.
CT has the highest per capita income for a state ($38K), but not surprisingly they all are far behind Washington, DC ($45.K) where the government functionaries and politicians live. CT also has one of the highest tax nuts in the country, ranking as the 48th worst for state and sales taxes.
Another factoid - DC median household income has increased from 57K to 65K since the socialists to office. Median HHI was fairly stagnant or decreased for most states during the same period (2009/2014).
