South Carolina has its greatest recruiting class ever

blah...blah... blah...blah...blah...blah, same old, same old, same old.

It's not the same old at all. Everything in the SEC is changing. South Carolina is improving. They have a coach that is nationally recognized for his dominance of Fulmer. I don't see what is so crazy about some Vol fans finding all this a little alarming.

Keep your head in the sand joey. As for me, I stay committed to reality.

My head is not in the sand, I'm more than aware of what reality is concerning the state of TN football. I neither sing Fulmer's praises nor do I blast him. The simple fact of the matter is that CF is the head coach of my beloved VOLS at this time and he will have my complete support as long as he is the HC. Does this mean I think he is the greatest and does no wrong, absolutly not, there are plenty of times I have criticized CF and other members of the staff and program and I'm sure there will be many more, but I see no need to bash the man in every post. Are there things I wished we did differently, yes, are ther outcomes I wished had been different yes, but the fact remains he has won SEC championships and a NC and devoted half his life to UT and deserves to be treated with a little more respect than some people give him wether they like him as a HC or not. The SEC is the toughest conference in college football and nobody stays on top for long, I honestly believe that it's getting ready to be our turn again. I think we will see TN in the SEC championship game at least 2 times within the next 3 years and in the hunt for a NC as well, the program is too good and too big not to be no matter who the coach is. If we are not competeing for championships in the next couple of years then sure I'll be the first to say it's time for a coaching change and we need to start looking elsewhere, but if we do start winning some championships I won't have to look back and say man I posted some really stupid stuff and I can't believe I said this and that, especialy in a thread like this one where you've already got us losing games 1, 2 or 3 years down the road. Why don't you see how it plays out before you stick us in the losers circle.

I have a feeling come next year this will have been SC's second best recruiting class ever.
IF that happens, let me be the first to:yahoo:!

Vols, you should be proud of yourselves. This is the first time that I've seen multiple posters admit that South Carolina is a team to take seriously. Whether or not we should be taken seriously is yet to be determined. 2007 should be an intriguing year in SEC football. I can't wait. Can we go ahead and start a countdown on here somewhere?

Gotta remember...it's still South Carolina...where they just always seem to find a way to lose...
