SC looks like terrible. MSU should have had a blocked punt and probably would have recovered it inside the 20. Instead SC got a FG out of it.

That 8+ pts and MSU looks pretty good. MSU playing without the first team QB too.

Croom shoulda had his boys wised up for some trickeration after the failed 4th and 1. It's just like Superior to go for the jugular after a deflating play like that.

SC is now just teeing off on that poor MSU QB. Pass protection is nonexistent.

You've got to wonder if the SC defense is this good or if MSU's offense is just bad. I know they are at a disadvantage playing with a backup QB, but their o-line play has been horrible.

I hope he kept his red cross jersey handy, he might be needed in practice to play QB.

I thought the State guys would have a better game. GaVol was right. Miss St missed too many opportunities early. 1st play after the back up qb comes in they throw and nearly connect on a deep pass over double coverage........nearly. I think the players played really hard, I think the Miss St coaching staff is over paid if they worked for room n board.

I see improvement in Miss St. It's hard to start from scratch in the SEC and build a competitive program.

Both D's played really hard. Will be interested to see how they do vs some of the other bigger kids on the block.

Spurrier's team looked like crap tonight, so did MSU.....That game was your typical SEC game though

A couple observations, first off I know MSU doesnt have the best offensive talent but having said that.

How many times can you call the same exact play. I mean they ran that hand off up the middle where the slot guy comes around to fake the reverse, they ran that at least a dozen times and never handed the ball to the slot man. They have to get much more creative.

And secondly what game was Fowler watching ?? Do the press boxes there make it hard to see the field or is he just incompetent ?
