Southern Cal at Colorado

Dumbest take I've ever heard. Listened to a guy earlier explaining how all the white coaches got together before the Oregon game to figure out how to beat Colorado, because of racism 🤣. I can't believe there's people that dumb in this country 😁
I really thought they’d just make Colorado Nat Champ after game 1 and the rest of us would just play the season out for the hell of it

The whole country is just jealous of Colorado .... and scared of Deion.
I think the Deion story is the most fun thing so far in college football this year. Oregon and USC have way better athletes and depth than what Colorado has faced so far. They were bound to have losses to better teams, but it’s still going to be an interesting story this year.

Well stated.

My issue isn’t with Deion, it’s with the race baiting liberal media that finds a way to inject their complete and utter BS into every aspect of our lives.

Colorado is a decent team. They got destroyed last week by a much better team. That happens every week. It’s not racism, it’s college football.
That last part exactly. Anyone who starts yapping about racism over them losing is a clown. Hate saying that and sounding ugly, but it's absolutely ridiculous.

I'm actually wondering if USC or Oregon doesn't end up winning it all. I know it's early, but then two, FSU, and maybe Texas are most likely in my opinion. I don't think we see an SEC champion this year.

Oh that's funny, someone must have misplaced all the Colorado playoff and Heisman talk, because I haven't heard a peep about any of that today. How weird. Maybe it's stuck under those 34 points Southern Cal scored in the first half.

And that, the media, was the problem. I love, sincerely, what he is for these young guys. I mean the stories about him being a father figure, helping them outside of football, etc. The media made it mostly about that, and what it means to poc, so if anyone pulls against them, some are just going off feelings, and gonna think it's racism. Some people just aren't a fan of certain teams, coaches, etc, and people have been conditioned to automatically find offense, instead of thinking logically. I hate Georgia, good for them if they do good things outside of football, I pull for anyone in life. That said, even if they cured cancer, I don't care what race, religion, etc they are, I'm gonna hope they lose every game 🤣. Stuff like this just boggles my brain.

I disagree .... but to each his own. That comes down to personal tastes in what a person finds to be "interesting."

Clicks. It was all about the clicks and eyeballs for the media. They saw a potential story that they thought the country would watch and ran with it.

Follow the money.

Because Prime has always been a polarizing loudmouth, he was perfect to use. Because Prime did what he did with the roster, he was perfect to use. And yeah, because he's black and he doesn't "code switch" his talking style with the press, he was perfect to use.

The media saw gold and that's what I want them to do because that's what a business should do. The media really doesn't and shouldn't care whether it's a pleasant story, a rape story, a racial story, a murder story, a sports story..... they are a business. They sell stories.

If you want to be pissed, be pissed at ourselves STILL talking about Prime, eating that "rat poison" EVERY DAMN DAY here on a Tennessee Vols fan board.

Wait what? I'm not pissed. I'm making fun of everyone surrounding the irritating Colorado hype machine.

I understand perfectly well what the Colorado phenomenon is. I just don't like it. In fact, I'd go so far as to say I despise it. From Sanders and his act, to the media, to the people that enable it all. I despise all of it. So ordered, on this day, the thirtieth day of September, 2023. Depised. I'll even underline it. There. Done.

I showed previously that Sanders acted just like he does now in 1989 when he was drafted. Bling. Arrogance. The whole thing. It's not an act. He really is an arrogant ass.

That doesn't change that it's working very well for the media and tangentially for CO and Sanders. That's all. We're still talking about it, still checking in on CO games, etc.

Ka-ching for the hype, even if it's negative attention. For the media, there is no bad news related to Prime. If we stop talking about it, they'll stop airing it. Keep looking in on his games, keeping his name out there talked about in public, etc and they'll keep using him.

Our job to make him go away is stop caring. Almost NO ONE talked about Prime until he hit Jackson State, no one cared and the media said little about him. Those were good days.

Obviously Lincoln Riley went to the klan meeting and got the game plan 🤣. I know a lot don't like the attention Colorado is getting, or primes attitude, but I've always liked him. I hope he does well, but he's not going to do it overnight. After their first two games the media had them in the playoffs (some), and it gave people a false hope. The TV said it, so they can't accept they're not that good, so they come up with stupid stuff. It happens in all walks of life, especially politics and sports.

Deion brought any ridicule he gets on himself….and it is deserved.

41-14 USC. No big shocker. Still time left for Prime to whine.

He’s got all day everyday to do that for everybody to see it seems. I’ll give him credit for drawing attention and getting exposure, but he’s still all about him and I can’t stand him.

Sadly I saw a lot of this on twitter or x this past week. So many are saying how great it is for college football to have Colorado be talked about so much and have Prime bringing new people to the game. I guess there’s something to be said for that, but I can’t stand casual college football fans. I’m a complete college football snob. Proud of it too. A lot of these people making all of these asinine comments don’t know anything about college football and are watching Prime and Colorado for the wrong reasons and they are falsely accusing people of ridiculous things when you are critical of certain things .

What's bad is legit media is acting that way. Keyshaun Johnson was acting the same way.

He’s smarter than that. I don’t doubt that there are some want Deion to fail for the wrong reasons, but the vast majority of people who are critical are so because he’s done things differently and he has run his mouth . Deion is Deion, he is entertaining and seems to be a pretty good coach. I think the jury is still out on that long term, but his ability to market and sell his vision is incredible.

USC defender shaken up. Deion has to stick his fat ego head into the camera shot to encourage him.

Usc will never win the national title with this terrible defense
I was just thinking that. On offense they're good, but they can't stop anything. One score game if they give up a TD here.

Coach Prime is the second biggest jerk of a head coach on the field today. Where’s all the trash talking about Lincoln Riley’s sunglasses? I enjoyed that Oregon beatdown last week, but go Buffs today. That sack probably ended their chances.
