I was thinking the same thing while watching the replay. It did have the GPS coordinates.I really wish the reentry and splashdown streams would give the telemetry data like they do on launches. Would love to know the altitude and velocity as that thing comes in. The Starship reentries give that data and it is fascinating
Did you watch Starship flights 4 and 5 with live video and telemetry the whole way in? Those were incredible. The way Starship generates enough Lift to stay in the thin upper atmosphere above 65 Km to burn off most of its velocity before dropping into the high dynamic loading of the thicker atmosphere was unbelievableI was thinking the same thing while watching the replay. One of the companies working on a commercial space station: Roadmap — VAST
Their proposed replacement for the ISS:
Elon knew what he was doing aligning with Trump. He wants the FAA to kick rocks and now it will hopefully happen very soon. Then hopefully we start to really see some progress with space travel and SpaceX will move at a faster pace. It will inherently help Blue Origin and ULA as well, but I think they need to get out of their own way first. How much do you want to bet we don’t see anymore „SpaceX is awaiting regulatory approval“ messages before launches now?
Expect a Trump DOJ and DOD to also quickly sue the California Costal Commission over their blatantly political decision to deny SpaceX‘s request for a higher launch cadence from VandenburgElon knew what he was doing aligning with Trump.
