Coolest part of living in Melbourne was the ability to watch the launches live. Sucked when that rocket blew up. Had to stay inside the school for awhile

I'm up on north Merritt Island.

So you get it in your face lol. We used to live north of 528 off of Courtney.

Went outside to watch. Its about 50 miles due east of here. Could see the launch itself really well. Could not make out the boosters coming back, though. All in all was very similar in appearance to a shuttle launch. Hope they do one like this at night -- those are very cool.

Went outside to watch. Its about 50 miles due east of here. Could see the launch itself really well. Could not make out the boosters coming back, though. All in all was very similar in appearance to a shuttle launch. Hope they do one like this at night -- those are very cool.

Watching that thing come back is pretty bad ass. I was outside of work and was like "WTF is that!" Impressive.

Attached is the launch. I was pressure washing my pool cage and just happened to see it. Not sure why it uploads sideways..Just tilt your monitors..

That is really cool. Elon Musk’s personal Tesla car was released from the rocket in a perpetual orbit around the sun and mars, complete with a guy driving it. Lol.

I watched it live today. Both boosters landed on their own at the exact same time. It was pretty amazing.
