The beautiful thing is we got recruits who just a few years ago wouldn't even consider the UT, showing interest. If 8 wins or more happen, Butch might take on the early Fulmer aura. Where opposing coaches cursed on seeing him show up and start thinking the rest of them might as well go home. That would be really cool.

His words actually make perfect sense if you know the formula he's using which is:

If A is ___ and B is ___ therefore C must be ___.

Now it IS an esoteric, or unusual, way of phrasing things on a football message board or on just about any message board that deals with a general audience but again if you understand/recognize the formula it makes perfect sense. No craziness at all. It's a simple logic proof.

The criticism should be that he chose the wrong method to express himself for a general audience as that is a justifiable criticism.

At first I was like..Whoa!! :tease2: :blink:...and then I was like whooooa..:cool: :matrix: It took me second and then I realized what you were doing there. If we perform well above expectations this year I agree with ya...If Butch and staff are able to recruit as well as they have with the albatross of the last few years hanging around them...We could enter another golden age of UT recruiting. Butch could surpass Fulmers early years in my opinion if this happens. People will see him as a miracle worker.
