Agreed on one game comment But sometimes you have a great player with a crappy suporting cast. Hard to excell if you dont have the help.

I think you have to admit that there are alot of players that go under the radar. It may be he didn't attend alot of camps. Or he just grew and matured alot between his junior and senior year. Maybe he just wasn't rated high enough. Just like I think the all star games show sometimes players aren't quite as good as once thought or they were rated a little high. But if a player does play well it will at the least make you go back and look at his film with a little different point of view knowing how well he played vs. the best players in the country or in his state.

just because he doesn't have any offers from big time schools doesn't mean he isn't good. Players that don't attend camps won't get as much exposure as others and his coach might not be getting his name out there. Everyone seems to agree that Daniel West will be good and we were his only big offer.

D didn't play AAU ball. If he had, he would've been much more highly ranked.

I saw this guy play East Burke in a state playoff game. He played the entire game and was a stud. I would look for him to be more of a lb than a fb in college. He led his team deep into the playoffs. Not sure if his size is where it needs to be-seemed like he was a little smaller other d1 lb's.

At 6'4" and 241 pounds, he would instantly be the biggest LB on out roster.

There is no way this guy is a legit 6'4. I did not even think he was close but he must be taller than he appeared to me. When compared to Tyler Shatley-Clemson recruit-Shuey looked much smaller.

Will get a visit from the coaches Thursday. If they offer, look for him to maybe commit soon after.

"Clemson told me they're going to offer me when I come up there this weekend. I'm not sure where Chapel Hill stands but I know they're real low on scholarships. Illinois offered me a while back.

"I'm actually waiting to hear from Tennessee. After the Shrine Bowl was the first time I heard from them. They're coming down to see me on Thursday."

"I would probably say Clemson and Illinois are the top two. I'll just see what happens on the visits."

thats alright, he was more of a sleeper than an absolute stud. We can manage. But good luck to him. He will enjoy drumming on USCe's face every year, just as he would here.

From a guy who goes to school with him, Kiffin visited the school a couple days ago. I'll try to find out some more info.

are you serious?

are you posting from a time machine?

the 3 posts directly above you are on how he committed to Clemson 6 days ago.

Earth to Burger, Earth to Burger, Shuey to Clemson, Shuey to Clemson.

"They offered and I accepted on the spot," Shuey told Tigerillustrated.com. "The whole place is perfect.

He is not switching his commitment, unless he gets a lobotomy.

In case you don't know what that is---

lobotomy:

Date:
1936

: surgical severance of nerve fibers connecting the frontal lobes to the thalamus performed especially formerly for the relief of some mental disorders

And it's not like a commitment can't be switched. We've visited him since then. Someone who actually knows him thinks that he's not fully committed and that us, Duke, and Kentucky still have a shot with him as well.

Captain Jack got a little fired up there.

Let Captain mention that fact that Shuey isn't like other recruits. It's not like he has offers from every major program out there and decided Clemson was his favorite. No, instead he committed to a pretty good program that decided to offer him a scholly. There isn't any certainty he'll get offered somewhere else.. and by chance a program like Tennessee comes along then he may reconsider since he would have another opiton. I don't understand the whole rant, NSD is Feb 4th. Anything could happen before then. If we gave up on commits we would lose some big names that are visiting over the next few weeks.
