Predicting Oklahoma will be one of the four teams to make the playoffs. How incredible would it be if we could knock them out of it?! Nega Vols... I know, we have no chance...flame away

If UT has it in them to knock off Oklahoma in Norman then they have enough in them to make a run for it themselves.

Do we really know how good Oklahoma is? Everyone knows they beat 'bama... but all non-OU fans are qualifying that win to an extent.

The OU team that lost to Texas last year sucked. They got blasted by Baylor. That program's reputation is riding solely on the Alabama win.

Maybe they are that good, we'll see.

I could see Oklahoma over looking us. All of Stoops talk about how the SEC isn't really that great mixed with the fact that we are still considered to be in the crapper. Could mean a lack of respect, which could lead to the biggest upset of the year. But I think a team with as many upperclassmen as OK will not let that happen.

Serious Question? Did anyone really see Temple beating Vandy? or even Va Tech beating Ohio State? Upsets Happen all the time. Don't count UT out yet. Natures way of coping with failure is to expect the worst before an event happens. When it doesn't all the Nega Vols will be pumping sunshine up your ass.

Negavols pump sunshine? That's like putting a cross in Dracula's face.

Guys (and Ladies) I'm sorry, but Stoops will not overlook Tennessee. If anything, cuz of his hate for the SEC, he is drilling his guys harder than ever. I truly believe he will want to destroy us so at the end of the season, he can show on his resume where he dismantled a team from the great SEC. I believe we can win this game, but the odds are very slim. We are a developing program going against a program that's been strong for years now.

Anything could happen though? Right?

Remember when they lost to a 4 win Iowa State team a couple years back in the last game of the season while they were a sure bet to play in the title game if they won. EDIT: That was Ok St. lol, woops

That was funny.

Still, they are clearly the better team. We just need to be the better team on Saturday for a few hours. We have a slim chance if you ask me, but at least there is a chance. I'll be watching, expecting the worst and hoping for the best!

A loss to UT in the 3rd game wouldn't knock them out of contention.

It would however mean more to the program than any win UT has had since the NC game. Jones could parlay it into the living room of any recruit in the country.

"The Experts" discussed us briefly on ESPNU. They danced around predicting our loss until one said we should be playing Saturday not to win but to prep for league play. Said we were going to get a "mental beat down". Apparently they think our loss will be bad enough to demoralize our team.

SUCK IT EXPERTS!!!!

I believe the pooners will be licking their wounds after this one.

It would mean a hell of a lot more than that NC State game did.

Same here. Driving up from Houston on Saturday morning. That and it's the kiddo's first time to the VOLS in person.

I'll be the one in orange and white, surrounded by Sooners in section 16.
