I like to think I started my son out right. He collects what and who he likes, regardless of value or what YouTube influencers try to shove down his throat!
We collect anything and everything baseball, we just don’t see a lot of opportunities to buy Leaf.
I’m proud of him because he gets just as excited about a Panini Bryce Harper base card as he does the Topps chrome Corbin Carroll autograph that he pulled!
He’s on the lookout for something like that Beck that you posted now.😎

Dude....you and your son go check this one for auction on ebay. The auction still has like 3 days to go but this card I actually bidded on but ended up not winning the auction and found the other RPA that I bought. This card was relisted because the guy that won the auction didn't pay the seller in the allotted time you're suppose to.

Blaster boxes. You can get them in retail places like Walmart and target or you can buy them from a local card shop. I don't have a local card shop where I live...so if I want to buy a blaster box...I go to Walmart or target. I usually stick to buying singles on ebay but every once in a while I'll buy a blaster or two.

I think Walgreens has them as well, my local Walmart hasn't had any cards in months.

I would check the big online wholesalers for price comparison. The two biggies are Dave and Adams Card World (make sure you go to the online sales site and not the site for their retail shop) and Blowout Cards. There are others just as good but those two are probably gonna have the lowest prices and largest selection.

This thread about cards just brought up a lot of nostalgia for me so I ordered one of those blaster packs from the site listed above yesterday. It was the first time I've spent money on cards in probably 25 years. This is why I love Volnation. I feel like a kid again waiting on this pack to come to see what I pull. I'll let you guys know if I get anything of note.

Most of his cards look like crap since they are college cards with no Kentucky logo on them. His Pro cards will look better

I haven't posted in a while but about three weeks ago on the way to a HS football game stopped by a shop in Fayetteville, TN.

I didn't have but around 15 minutes to look around but picked these out of a new arrival box.
