Just when I think Vol fans could not get any goofier, this thread comes along. Your envy and hatred of Florida knows no bounds. Simply amazing...

Actually, we're simply laughing at the continued excuses coming from Meyer. It must suck to be the defending NC and no one is covering you post-UT. :post-4-1090547912:

Yeah- Meyer orchestrated the sick players to get press coverage. Your goofiness is limitless.

If we are the ones that are so envious, then why are you on a Tennessee message board when you are playing Kentucky? Just curious.

It's pretty obvious I wouldn't be envious of a team UF has beaten 5 years in a row. I started checking it out back in July and figured I would offer up an opposing view in this Kool-Aid stand.

As an NCAA coach, why do you disclose prior to a game that your folks are sick?

First of all, nobody ever reported tebow or the others on the seperate plane have the flu, just not feeling well.

second, 97% of confirmed flu cases on UF's campus this year have been h1n1.

But ofcourse it's absolutely, completely out of the realm of possibly for a football player to ever get sick...

What's the issue with it?

Ole Miss and Houston Nutt disclosed it, QB Jevan Snead among Ole Miss Rebels players feeling sick - ESPN

Wisconsin disclosed it- Badgers football team still fighting flu - CFB News - FOX Sports on MSN

Many college teams have disclosed it- College football teams tackling swine flu - College Football - Rivals.com

UF discloses it and Tennessee fans come up with some goofy conspiracy theory that Meyer has ulterior motives. Do you really think they need to make a preemptive excuse before playing a team they beat by 58 points last year and have beaten 22 years in a row? The fatuousness that some of you display is staggering.

Are you a cross dresser? No self respecting male would continue to whine like this or continue to be such a blatant loser? I do, however, know some chicks who would fit the bill.

False. Joe Haden's daddy gave the Orlando Sentinel a quote saying it was the flu. Again, you fail, but hey it's a free country. You and your gator brethren can continue whining to your hearts' content. In the meantime, we just :post-4-1090547912: at you.

.....

Reread my post. I made no issue. I asked a simple question. A question that you chose to get defensive over rather than answering.

Gosh, you are hypersensitive.

BTW - I did some research and found it was an anonymous source who leaked the info.

LEXINGTON, Ky. — Florida quarterback Tim Tebow looked ready to play on Saturday before the top-ranked Gators took on Kentucky, one day after the Heisman Trophy winner and several teammates flew to Kentucky on a separate plane because of respiratory and congestive issues.

Tebow, cornerback Joe Haden, safety Major Wright and others were isolated on a separate plane Friday according to a person familiar with Florida's travel plans. They rejoined the top-ranked Gators at the hotel, but it was unclear whether they would play Saturday night against Kentucky. The person, who requested anonymity, was not authorized to discuss players' health.
