vikings wont leave. and this list loses all credibility by saying that the 49ers leave san fran, that's ridiculous considering how long that team's been there, the history and local support.

im surprised jacksonville jags arent on there though with the leading the league in blackout games the last few years...

No matter what, an NFL team will be housed in LA within a few years. It has been stated, and there is too big of a market for the opportunity to be turned down.

The absence of the Memphis Grizzlies makes this list a joke.

I haven't followed their situation, but I did attend the Grizzlies/T-Wolves game last year. You could have safely touched off a shotgun in the FedEx Forum without fear of actually hitting anybody.

Not sure why the Marlins are #1 considering they are getting a new stadium in Miami, and the 49ers are getting a new one in Santa Clara, so they are already plannig a move.

The Vikings won't leave Minnesota. The U of M has a new stadium and the Twins are getting one built. The word is that The Vikes are going to share the U of M's stadium for 2 years while the Metrodome gets renovated.

Minneapolis is a good sports town. Can't imagine the vikings would leave. UM's new stadium looks like it will be nice. I might try to come up and catch a game next year.

Don't they have to stay until at least part of the Forum is paid off? Something like 2012 or something.

Maybe they will leave and memphis will go back to the Pyramid.

Well then they couldn't sell beer at the games...ah im torn.

Atlanta Thrashers, Nashville Predators, Phoenix Coyotes. One of the above will be in either London or Hamilton, ON, by 2011. Count on it.

I am not a huge hockey guy, but have been to a few Preds games......What is the problem there? Every game I have been to has been well attended.

i've never attended a game, but i've always heard that they usually have a good turnout for their games.

Weekend turnout is good, it's the mid week games that get a little light sometimes. The NHL actually wants it to work here. There are a lot of Canadian and US transplants from up north living in Nashville and the surrounding cities.

I have a friend in Toronto who seems to be 100% sure that there will be a second team in Toronto within a few years. He said that the support for hockey in Toronto deserves a second team. I don't know anything about hockey, though. He seems to think that if NY can support two teams, then Toronto can.
