This team can't string together two decent games to make a deep tourney run.

They get a match up against some good guards and I'd expect them more likely to be one and done than an Elite Eight run.

Do we have the ability to? Sure...offense in rhythm with our defense is deadly. Has that happened for more than 1 game this season...no. So to win three games to get there...like the article says, we need magic.

Watch our offense. Every time someone touches the ball, the first thing they look to do is pass. Do we not coach squaring up, triple threat position, and look to go to the hole. I really don’t get it.

This team shows flashes but they don’t put it together on the floor. If they could put it all together on the floor on both sides of the court....I pity the other team.

This team is 100% capable of beating anybody but I’ve seen nothing that shows me they’re capable of playing 6 straight good games. Unfortunately they’ll be lucky to make the Sweet 16

I honestly believe some of these articles are about getting a rise out of fans when really they know better. What's the word I'm looking for.....umm click bait ....nah not click bait.....umm yeah that's it click bait. They know Tennessee fans are so desperate for anything positive in any of our sports teams that we would click the link till we starved to death. We click the link and sit and read the words, make a grunting noise like a caveman, start drooling on ourselves, and believe every word.

That’s the hopeful wrinkle ironing by Barnes I alluded to—but as we saw today in Baton Rouge, poor post play, a defensive scheme we couldn’t solve in 40 minutes and several freshman mistakes in ball handling, passing and court awareness. March approaches. A bit too quickly for this Volunteer team, I’m afraid.
