Thrilled? We still talk about what a flop 2016 was after beating UGA AND Florida yet not winning the East, as well as his meltdown versus Oklahoma in 2015. I feel like it’s been clear that most fans aren’t mad necessarily at 8-4, but the way it happened. The loss to Florida was unacceptable and the way they lost at Mizzou was as well. I think most expected anywhere from 10-2 to 8-4.

I personally think we beat UF if Mays had played. Our offense looked different once he came back. Regarding Missouri, I had a very bad feeling about that game, but certainly expected a better performance. I think the injuries and lack of depth are taking a toll - plus we underperformed and were outcoached.
