Starts this morning at 2am!

Daylight Saving Time (United States) 2014 begins at 2:00 AM on Sunday, March 9

Figured more people would see it here. Mods feel free to move later.

where are putting these hours we've saved and are they gaining interest?

whoever came up with this idea didn't have young kids. Morons

I actually enjoy the first month of so of it. I've got a 6 year old that thinks first light is his alarm clock. A 7:30 sunrise puts me back in control.

I'm just thinking about putting a 2.5yo down and hour before he's ready. It was not a fun experience

Isn't it interesting how putting down a 2 1/2yo human and putting down a 12 yo dog mean entirely different things?

Does Indiana observe it? I was under the impression they did not.

they started observing it in like 2006 or 2007. They realigned a lot of indiana between EST and CST at the same time.

This used to mess with me when I went to the Indy 500 and even when watching it. The race starts at 11am but thats Central time but without DST. I could be off by as much as 2 hours depending on when I started drinking that day.

Blackout shades are key.

he goes at 8pm so it was dark. He just looked at me and said "not tired daddy" and I knew it would not be fun. Of course I had to wake him at 6am
