Spurs vs. Cavaliers

I didn't get to see the game either but it sounded like the Cavs were sleeping the first three quarters.

For some reason it seems like Lebron doesn't get started until the 4th and that will not win rings.

67-63 with 2 1/2 minutes to go. This game is horrible. If David Stern wants to know why ratings are down, he needs to just watch this game over and over again. It's trench warfare basketball coupled with pathetic shooting.

Lebron James looks like what would have happened if Magic Johnson had no teammates. He's great, but he needs help. He's just not quite dynamic enough to breakdown defenders every time down and take over a game like Kobe or Jordan.

Hard to believe he didn't get that call with the ref right there. That was really obvious.

Glad he didn't get the call though. There's no use in prolonging this train wreck.

As long as they continue the ping pong ball draft lottery in the NBA, there will be an overload of power in one conference or the other (currently the west and they are going to get the first and second pick in the draft)...

They need to scrap the zone defense rule and cut out a lot of the physical play if they want to actually keep the NBA watchable.

Michael or Kobe wouldn't be able to take over against this defense. He's being double and triple teamed continuously.

When he gets double and triple teamed why doesn't he just kick the ball out to Boobie? I thought he was the new phenom...

I'm glad Lebron didn't complain about being fouled in the postgame conference. I know he probably doesn't want to get fined, but it shows a lot of sportsmanship from him by not complaining about the foul.

LeBron's teammates are a bunch of clowns. Ilgauskas can't do anything unless he is 6 inches taller than you and Varejao is tha absolute worst player I may have ever seen. Pavlovic thinks that he is athletic and tries some very ill-advised shots. LeBron needs major help. This shows how weak the east was this year.

You'd think by now the NBA would realize that "just let em play" has turned the game into fouls, bricks, and pathetic scores. If it wasn't for the stars, this crap would be unwatchable. Almost is now. David Stern needs to wake up or step down, he's really out of touch.

Looks like the Cadavers are gonna get swept out of their own building. News at nine.

It does appear however that the Spurs have caught fire and might break 20+ points for the third quarter.

Exactly what I was saying during game 3. The refs need to find the whistle, cut down on the physical play and scrap the zone defense rule. This is utterly unwatchable.

Although none of that helps the fact that nobody has any sort of midrange game anymore.
