If I were OC, the first play would be Milton throwing an 80 yard pass to the front pylon. Squirrel's job is to get there.
Work on the timing this week in practice.
It takes Squirrel 8.8 seconds to get there, the flight of the ball takes 5.2 seconds, Milton throws the ball at 3.6 seconds.
Epic - 80 yards in the air - let the legend begin.

With Joe Milton III, we are in the Red Zone when we get the ball at our own 20-yard line.

you'd think bru out would lead to more time for Keyton or Walker Merill.. Squirrel does not play the same position as Bru. Some of our WR's can line up at any spot Squirrel cannot. one good hit across the middle and its his funeral. Squirrel=Hyatt but smaller there are certain routes that it would probably be an OSHA violation or HIPPAA or we get the ASPCA on us for animal cruelty. Bro is like 160 soaking wet.
a Milton fastball might break his ribs too

Even with Bru out, we have Jalin, Tillman, Keyton, Squirrel, and Fant.

If Joe M gets them the ball along with a decent run game, we'll be fine at Vandy.

Yes to this. I think the Vols have one offensive advantage no other college teams have this season: No receiver can outrun Milton's arm. Going deep from our own 20 is not an issue, its an advantage. Its all on the receiver to catch up to the ball.

Maybe even better. Once you get into the red zone, the depth of available field starts getting compressed. Less room for receivers to stunt or create separation. I would argue Milton and Squirrel are more dangers from 50 yards out than from 20

Better hope off. Line can hold up on pass blocking. Milton isn’t near the running threat as Hooker. That’s my concern, plus Milton‘s accuracy. Guess we will see as season goes along. Hope for the best.

Milton isnt near the running QB that Hooker was but one thing Milton has is his size. Hopefully he can use that to his advantage.

ticking time bomb waiting to erupt. Every time you see him he is open and I know some may say well it's early and whatever but hopefully he is the type of player that can always find a way to be open. He is a player that I am real excited to watch over the next few years.
Watching the Orange B. the other day.......10 targets, with 9 catches.
