Not wanting to derail this thread but you do realize that it is precisely that Zimmerman was under attack that provoked the use of his weapon, right?*
*This is the story being told, neither of us are any more privvy to the truth than anybody else on the board. Upshot, the points you try to make here don't relate to the cases you are using.
Zim was in a car and had a big pistol. Tray was walking and had candy. Zim would never have been in any danger if he had took his punk ass on to Target and simply called the police on Tray. Then the POLICE would have done their job. Tray's mom would have her baby (as long as he was not commiting any crime, which he was not). Zim would not be charged with 2nd degree murder (as I feel he should). I feel Zim went looking for trouble (not Trayvon) and he found a boat load of it. Upshot, **** off, whoever you are.k:
That's one.
Shall we go look in this morning's newspapers and see how many were used in crimes? How many were involved in accidents?
Thank goodness for the 2nd amendment.
Gun carrying man ends stabbing spree at Salt Lake grocery store - ABC4.com - Salt Lake City, Utah News
Most states and municipalities went lax on gun laws in the last few decades, and murders/non-negiglent homicides have fallen from 9.8 per 100,000 to 4.8 per 100,000 since 1991.
Look in this morning's paper, and you're not going to find anything like that.
