Seems to me the negative effects of Trump which were amplified by the press, are far outweighed by the negative effects of Biden and his handlers on the economy as we watch wages get crushed by inflation, gas prices out of control, street crime taking whatever they want without repercussions and you think things are better?
I'm just not seeing those things to the degree which you seemingly do.
I paid $2.89 per gallon at Bucky's on my way to Nashville for Thanksgiving.
That hardly seems like "out of control" gas prices.
You guys are running the risk of entering "crying wolf" territory.

Did your healthcare prices go up 18% like mine did to $850 a month? Are you happy to pay 75% more for gas this year than you did when Trump was in office? What are we getting for these massive increases in expenditures?

We would all love those things, along with peace, good health, happiness, and good will toward our fellow man.
When you can't have everything you want, you have to prioritize.
Had all those things to an extent under Trump. Middle East Peace, record low minority unemployment, and many other things.

Instead you go pull the lever for a racist old white dude that can barely complete a coherent sentence. Nice job.

My health care did not go up.
Just checked on gas prices.
National average per gallon when Trump left office - $2.39
National average today - $3.17
That's an increase of 33%, I don't know where you got the 75% number.
Also, the national average is down 5 cents over the past week. So back in the right direction.
The sky is not falling........we avoided that.

He wasn't Trump. Did you guys not pick up on the "anybody but Trump" mood of the country?
Please don't make the same mistake in '24.

Those things were not happening when the election was held. We were already on shaky ground economically. This was coming in some form no matter who was in office

Here is some even better data:
Average price per gallon reached $2.987 in May of '18. (That's under trump by the way)
Today - average is $3.17
That's a 6% increase over Trump prices.
Makes that 75% number look even more like "crying wolf".
Why are you guys so determined to convince people the sky is falling?
Oh yea, we know.

What were gas prices under Obama? Order your electric car and move on.

Gas prices fluctuate greatly, always have, always will........under every administration.
Trump opened the oil industry up to make us self sufficient and Biden slammed the door closed his first day in office to make it more expensive for no other reason than to appease his lefty liberal coconuts. Your party owns this march to make us all dependent once again on countries that don't like us. Just exactly how do you propose to supply enough wind and solar energy to replace the 20 million barrels of oil a day to replace every car in the US with an electric vehicle? Where are the rare earth minerals going to come from that will make the batteries for all of these cars, China?
You liberals haven't even come close to figuring out how you're going to do what your dream is, but you'll destroy the country to get there first.

Please. Carter had the best LONG TERM energy policy in the past century. People were just to dumb to realize it.
There is almost always a short term and long term trade off. Everything Trump has ever done is short term.
What's going to look good on the quarterly report? - to hell with the long term viability of the company. (The Trump Motto)

I'll tell you what then Luther, you can pay my taxes, my healthcare increases and my grocery bill until we figure out how to implement Jimmy Carters energy plan of 50 years ago. I hope your school system can tax the locals enough to pay for your pension when you retire, because you don't seem to have a worry in the world.

OEM auto manufactures have/are planning to laying off about 70k employees.
Kenworth has laid off 350 employees with more expected next year.
Mack has laid off 300 in one plant.
Volvo has laid off 700.
Freightliner has laid off 900.
Cummins laid off 2000.
These are OEMS so these job losses multiply on down the line to their suppliers.

Yeah, we're headed in the right direction all right.

Not to the degree it is going. Brandon (or whoever is actually running the country) has thrown gasoline on the fire.

And he even paid more to foreign oil companies to do THAT.

Yeah, we're headed in the right direction all right.
Recovering from the global impact of the COVID pandemic will take time.
That's why it was so important that Trump acknowledge the severity early on instead of downplaying the severity at every opportunity.
It was a global crisis.
His shortsightedness is once again coming home to roost.

It's called a controlled burn. Biden is trying to contain and then extinguish the Trump conflagration.

We need the .gov to build back better (BBB) in order to get inflation lower and fill these job openings. I was in Home Depot today and I swear they just dropped off a bus load of border crossers, either that or the country just decided to start speaking Spanish.
