Stallworth to Ravens

First, Donte needs a job--
Second, he probably figures he can beat KW out.
Third, at this point, DS is lucky to get a shot--anywhere.

Have you not been following the NFL the last few years? The Bengals just signed Matt Jones and worked out Pacman Jones so Donte's not that desperate for a job. A playoff team where he can contribute picked him up this quickly. It's not like he went to Buffalo.

Actually Kelley Washington's an unrestricted free agent this offseason, so there's a pretty good chance he's not going to be back anyways

Right, it wouldn't have surprised me if he's not back before hearing that, but I've never really heard anything to suggest Stallworth has a problem with Washington besides speculation about something almost 10 yrs old.

Now they have two killers on their team.

The pedestrian killed himself. That's why Stallworth got 20 days (which is consistent with a DUI charge). Stallworth didn't cause the accident no matter how you wanna slice it. The guy was running across a 6-lane causeway.

Huh? What do they have in common? Ravens are a playoff team. They've had success in the draft (Ngata, Flacco, Rice, etc.). What on earth do they have in common?

He's talking about the 2000, 01,02 series for the team that went to the playoffs each year and went to the Super Bowl

....and of course, thugs on both teams

OK...so a DUI makes you a thug? Lewis has had 10 years of problem free living. So who else on the Ravens is a troublemaker?

IMO, a DUI which results in the death of another person makes you a murderer. It should result in a MINIMUM of life.

How fitting. Doesn't it help to be a murderer in Baltimore, tho ? A rough town it is

On the football side of it, I heard it reported that Stallworth’s 40 time was rumored to have been improved running 40 yard in 4.3 seconds, and well, surely the Baltimore Ravens are in need of some receiving help so the signing fits perfectly. Stallworth has been dubbed injury prone ( to say the least) in the fantasy football world, but this move could add some much needed talent to a somewhat flat and aging pass unit.

Baltimore is gonna be a tough team to beat.
