It would be better for you guys actually.

There was always uncertainty and doubt recruiting against the Meyer to ND rumors, yet we pulled in top classes.

Now there's uncertainty and doubt about Urban returning from his leave of absence, yet our current class is ranked higher than yours....and we aren't done yet.

Powell is set to announce for UF this weekend, and Elam is wavering again on his FSU verbal....that kid is a head case....

Does anybody know were the other assistants on 2008 staff have gone all I know so far is that
Clawson-Bowling Green
Chavis-LSU
Dan Brooks-Clemson
Seems like the rest of them has just dissapeared.

I'm not sure. Even though this class hasn't fallen apart, I could see it being harder to recruit later on. I still think UF will do fine recruiting, but I'm not sure Meyer will work has hard if he is actually concerned about his health.

All I have to say is: paybacks are hell. A grand total of ZERO UF fans who are friends of mine are happy about this hire. I get an unhealthy amount of joy out of watching gator fans squirm.

The prevailing theory is that UF hired Drayton for his recruiting abilities. I think they're hoping his hire saves Mack Brown.

I'm not sold on Mack Brown ever being a meaningful contributor at UF.

Now Pop Saunders on the other hand.....

Drayton said that shortly after being hired by Tennessee in 2008.
