In his two seasons at Stanford, Moi recorded 37 total tackles, 11 solo tackles, three pass deflections, and also added a sack. As a recruit, Moi was ranked as a three-star recruit out of San Diego, California. The Cathedral Catholic product held over 20 offers, and chose Stanford over programs such as Oregon, Arizona, Arizona State, and Cal where he was actually committed to prior to flipping his commitment.

Moi started one game as a freshman and according to PFF started seven games in 2023 for the Cardinal. The defense is however returning Tobin Phillips for a fifth-year, as well as Anthony Franklin. They also will be bringing in four-star defensive lineman Benedict Umeh who is enrolling early, and should contend for some serious playing time if not a starting role.

Moi marks just the second starter that Stanford has lost from the 2023 season after losing nearly every starter from 2022.

Taking an Official Visit here next weekend.

Small world.

Watched this kid play with Cathedral Catholic Dons some years back vs Lincoln HS.
Very disruptive on the inside in that game.

Lincoln's RB that went to USC iirc had like 20 yards rushing that game.

Better than Norman Lott?

Because he’s in the portal with a visit set, the baseline expectation is that he will choose Tennessee unless the coaches and boosters (and complacent fans that enable them) somehow screw it all up.

After all, he plays at a California school and is from San Diego - why would he not choose Tennessee?

It’s science. If he doesn’t choose us and become the next John Henderson then Garner should be fired for lack of development.
