can Barkley still win the Heisman after losing to the same team 4 years in a row? Thought that was a requirement somewhere

Sounds familiar. Btw there is a tight end/qb in Florida that can out run corners that is a dark horse.

No need...However, after last week's performance vs Syracuse, I knew this was coming. The trees match-up against us perfectly, and they found the weaknesses in our OL and exploited them all night. Would not be shocked if we finished the reg season 8-4.

If LK doesn't turn this around, the only thing that may save him is this '13 recruiting haul...

No amount of recruiting will lead Kiffin to a NC. His chance was this year. Also, his game calling is as predictable as Jim Chaney's and is only slightly more productive. Oregon is going to maul you guys atleast once and maybe twice.

His chance was not this year, USC has as good a starting offense and defense as anybody in the country this year (with the probable exception of Alabama) but the depth is non-existent.

Kiffy has been on thin ice with the new USC AD since day one, so who know if he can keep his job, but they will continue to get better.

The scholle reduction gets worse over the next 2 years. I dont think hes survives past that. He can recruit all of the wr's he wants, but they cant play ol or lb for him. He's just not that good of a hc.

If you look at our '13 class, you'll notice we have addressed most needs with players who are ranked in the top 5 at their position. But you're right the $64,000 question is how will we move forward the next two years.

IMO, next year's team will be better than this years' squad. The DL/OL will bring back every single starter (minus 1 DE) and have a lot more guys with experience in the rotation. WR only gets better despite losing Woods and the next Mater Dei QB (Leinart and Barkley went there) comes in...kid named Wittek who looks good and may actually surprise people expecting a huge drop-off.

Is LK a good coach? So far, I haven't been too impressed outside of his recruiting. At the same time, it's hard to argue for his dismissal and risk losing key players in the '13 class who will be the deciding factor if we make or break the sanctions. It is what it is.

Kobe, LK has to let dad go. When he gets a great DC they will be much better. They are one injury away from average. Depth will be an issue for years to come.

Never supported Grandpa coming along, so I agree 100%. Though I worry LK would just replace him with another disciple of the Tampa 2/Bend don't break that is down-right infuriating to watch.
