So we got 4 4 stars committed right now with potentially Randolph getting one if he sends a tape into Rivals (but Im going to say 5 because everyone knows the type of player Randolph is).

More than likely going to commit to us soon:
Lanier
Couch

That puts us at 7.

More than likely going to commit to us:
Richardson
Clear

That puts us at 9

People we are in good shape for:
Wright
Johnson
A RB out of Bellamy/Huggins/Grooms/Bigelow/Hayes

And then Loften will be a 4 star if he qualifies.

Doesn't look as bad now does it for you Rival people now does it? Then look at our 3 stars.

Posey, Kerbyson, Smith, Worley, Harris, Jordan Williams (All of these kids have dominated their level of competition and look to project well to next level).

The class is looking good. I believe the staff will finish and close even better and we are definitely filling needs. The future is bright and it will only get better.

Some people just like to freak out all year and preemptively give themselves ulcers. While still others have to make their beliefs and predictions about our staff come true.

like jmoore, I gave up on those clowns and now just ignore them.

But, I'll bet that there will be lots of leftover crow come NSD.

It amazes me that people go crazy on these rankings every year. I mean really who gives a ****. I work at Rivals and I don't even go by them. Watch the film yourself and determine how much you like someone. Coaches who are recruiting these kids usually know what there doing. Trust your on staff...you can always tell who the really special players are like Clowney but after that its a pure guess.

rant off.

You're good people, GT. Unlike some on this board, you actually get it. Many thanks for your contributions.

Can not win signing 3 star players. Example Tyler Bray was a 3 star according to scout. Look how bad he looked in the last 2 games. He does not look like he will be a very good :whistling::whistling::whistling:player.

Someone said Loften wouldn't count toward the overall ranking for this class. Is that true and how does he not count towards this class ranking if true?

I believe it's because he counts back to the 2010 class, which is fine because it gives us an extra spot this year. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

I won't be suprised if we end up w/ 12 4 stars.

This may end up being the best class we have landed in years.

It will fill needs perfectly. It will be heavy on the lines with alot of big bodies that are lowly rated because they are a lilttle harder to evaluate. Then sprinkle in a few players that our staff feels are players with a lot of upside and you have a great class.

Then factor in that most of the guys we have are likely to qualify and that we are going to oversign so you can almost guarantee that we are going to bring in 26 new faces next year to go with this already young talented team....can't help but get excited.

2012 here we come!

I agree with your accessment 100%. But have you looked at the 2011 schedule, not saying we can make a run for the SEC, but record wise we shouls be MUCH improved. Kinda makes me wish NC was stll on schedule, I think we'd beat them!

While I agree we will be better in 2011, we will still be VERY Young.

Our SR class will basically be pretty non-existant and while we have some talented contributors that will be JR's our numbers are pretty low there as well.

So the majority of the team will be SO's and FR again.

That is why 2012 we will take a huge jump!
