Star of the season

I'm hoping it's Coker. It would be nice if we could have a 1 - 2 combination in the backfield. We already know that Foster is going to be good, but he needs someone to pick up where he left off when he needs a rest.

I believe DC will benefit Coker, due to the screens that he likes to run. I think Coker is due for a breakout year, as well as Foster......and I also believe that the group of RB's we have now will reach their potential unlike the past few weve had. (Riggs..cough cough!!)

The 2nd punch in that 1-2 punch will be Hardesty (assuming he is 100% healthy). I think we might have two backs finish with 1,000 yards. Hardesty is that good.

That would relieve a lot of pressure from Ainge to make/force plays..........pretty much a repeart of his freshman season....wooohoooo!

As long as someone steps up and helps out..

Special Teams, Honorable Mention O-Line and D-Line.

Ainge needs to be able to get comfortable in the pocket and our RBs need to be able to run free.

On defense, we don't have the LBs we did last year, so we need our D-Line to keep bodies off of them so they can fly around and make plays.

I don't think anything needs to be said about STs except that our players had better take it seriously this year.
You say we don't have the LB's we had last year. Is that a good thing or a bad thing?

How does everyone know that he is so good? He didn't do anything last year. In the games any way.

ainge will have the most impact, good or bad. if he's great, the offense as a whole will benefit. If he's terrible, the whole team suffers.

Ainge is the IMPACT player this year, one way or another....not saying he won't need help from line and RB's and receivers, but a lot of it starts with him.

I am not worried about D-fence. Think Erik will have a turn around year. No where to go but up for him. For receivers to have good year means that QB has to have a good year. So, it'll be Meachem and Ainge. And to be honest, hope we have no real stars like in 98 and they play like a team. Oh well, can hope.

Ainge on offense needs to be the guy that picks it up, on defense its gonna have to be Morley or any of the secondary, and we forget about special teams, Colquitt has got to be a whole lot better this year or offenses will have a short field on us again and again

Crompton over Ainge anyday, and if not then Crompton will pressure Ainge into playing better ball for sure by just being on the sideline ready to come in.

The news out of spring did not look good for Hardesty to play this year. They are pretty tight with the injury status this summer. I would like to see Coker play but he had some fumble problems. As for my vote, Cory Anderson.
