Beyond excited for this!

The only minor criticism I've read about The Force Awakens is that it mirrors A New Hope a little too closely in terms of story/structure for some people's taste. If that's really the only thing people can come up with to criticize for this film, I'd say we have a real winner on our hands!

I'm honestly surprised. I knew fans would love it but I figured critics would be harsher on it for being unoriginal and too ambiguous at times.

Saw some leaks and..
I've seen some bootleg clips of Kylo, Hux, Snoke. Snoke is one bad and huge mofo. Also saw a shot of Luke at the end of the film and the dude looks bad ass

I'm showing my economics and government classes A New Hope and I'm including a question on the final about how the movie relates to real world revolutions, dictatorships, and command economies.

I had several kids say, "Star Wars looks dumb and I don't want to watch it." Fortunately, they ended up enjoying it, with the exception of a few that went to sleep because "the graphics suck" 😣

I couldn't believe how many either didn't recognize Harrison Ford or didn't even know who he was 😣😣

I also wore all of my Star Wars shirts this week. So bonus points??

Down to 94% now on RT. I suspect it will end up around 92% which will make it less than A New Hope/Empire but well above Jedi/Sith. That puts it in Avengers territory. Sounds about right.

Going to the all day Star Wars movie fest extravaganza here in Little Rock. Starts at 3:00 AM and ends at 1:00AM after TFA...can't wait (Bart Scott).

After hearing Snoke's theme in the score, I'm not totally convinced that Snoke isn't Plagueis. It is eerily similar to the score of the opera scene where Palpatine is talking to Anakin about him. And while it could be just a coincidence, Kylo says "The Supreme Leader is wise".
