Star Wars vs Star Trek

Never understood why Star Trek never had fighter jets or "soldiers" ie like boots on the ground.

My brother and I always liked to argue who had the better ships, I think it is Star Trek hands down. More lethal weapons and faster ships.

han solo was basically a black man flying around the universe with a mexican and some stupid white kid in a beat up pinto on 20 inch rims.

Star wars is a bunch of stolen stories with great special effects.

At least Star Trek is practiced marxism with utopia.

Atleast it has a cartoon series.... I don't think star trek ever had anything like that..and the original 3 star wars movies grossed more than the whole tv series and star trek movies, I think, but not sure..

Personally I think the star wars are a bit better. But only the older ones. However, i have watched a lot of the Star Trek (not Kirk, picard) and it's pretty good.

You have Star Destroyers, Death Stars, Sun Crushers, etc etc. Trust me, I'd take the Galactic Empire in a fight against all the combined powers in the Star Trek universe.

I love the original tv series

I love the next generation.

I loved movies wrath of khan and undiscovered country ALOT

rest of the stuff was total crap though.

Yeah but SW was in the past ST was the future. Surely the technology of SW would surpass what ST has to offer.

I mean come on, phasers vs lightsabers, please.
