Starters for next year

Stokes needs to add a jumpshot before he turns PRO. He has only a power game right now with no jumpshot. Another year to develope a jumpshot would do him good!

Stokes is most effective facing the basket as an offensive player. When his back is to the basket, the trouble seems to start...

The love for Richardson is for his defense. Yeah, he's got a nice mid-range game, but offensively he's an average player. He usually guards the opposing team's best player, and often does a pretty good job. That's why the love.

No one is saying he is the best player since King. At the risk of speaking for them, they are comparing his midrange game to King's because the midrange game is a lost art anymore. Players over the last 10-15 years either shoot a 3, or take it to the rack. As denoted by our high number of charges committed against aTm, we have several who could stand to learn to stop and pull up early rather than barrel to the basket and commit a needless foul.

Richardson is not great in any phase of the game yet, save for defense and his keen knack for hitting the 10-12 foot pull-up jumper. He was off yesterday, but generally hits shots in that range with regularity. If you haven't taken notice of thst this season, we've been watching different games.
