Starting 5 ?????

Isn't kind of funny that no players from the last fifteen years would make the all-time starting five?

How about this all-time team, and yes Lofton makes it.

PG-Lofton
SG-Houston
SF-Yarbrough
PF-Grunfeld
C-King

Not at all.

White
Houston
Ellis
Grunfeld
King

and Reggie Johnson Backing up at Center.

Yarbrough has no business anywhere near a great team.

I guess I stand corrected.

I thought Grunfeld played the 3 and King the 4?

Also, you are 100% correct about Yarbrough.

YOu've obviously never heard of Dale Ellis. Yarbrough sucked. DUde got another chance this year and still blew it. But you, being the NBA guru you are, already knew that I assume.

Haha, you hate so hard. It's amusing to be honest. But you're right! Move Yarbrough to second team and move Dale into that slot.

You were right about those guys being nowhere near solid posts, but I couldn't drop anyone else off the list and put Johnson on. With that team, I'd probably play Ellis and Grunfeld at the forward and the remainder of the 3 on the wings. All but white would be 6'6" to 6'8".

Don't flatter yourself. I was responding to your silliness because I saw that emainvol did. I didn't even know you posted it until you made this comment.

Gotcha. That would still be a nasty lineup regardless.

If you were going all time starting five, mine would be:

1. Darden
2. Houston
3. Grunfield
4. King
5. Johnson

I agree on Tony White. He probably should be there over Darden. Darden was such a good distributor of the basketball, but White certainly could score. Guess I was looking at overall point guard ability rather than scoring.
