QB - Crompton
RB - Foster
FB - Holbert
TE - Brown
WR - Meachem, Swain, Smith
DE - Reynolds, Mitchell
DT - McBride, McDaniel
OLB - Mayo, McCoy
MLB - Karl
CB - Wade, Johnson
FS - Heffney
SS - Morley
KR - Taylor

This could be a good team. Just need to get hot early. Crompton will be superstar!

I disagree at DT it will be McDaniel and McGlothlin, McGlothlin is the 3rd DT right now and is playing more than any of the other 2nd team guys, everyone is forgetting about him.

In the D-line, don't forget that Mapu returns[pretty sure about that] and Bolden will be bigger, smarter and more mature.

We lose alot in the D-line, but we should come back strong there.

I also think Ryan Karl will be at one of the outside LB spots, and not in the middle. I would say Marvin Mitchell will probably start there.

Has Harrell said he was leaving for sure.  I thought he was a JR.  I would think he would start at DT. :dunno:

Heard he was going pro. I hope he stays. I also forgot that JT Mapu would be back.

Antwan Stewart will be back at SS, as will Justin Harrell at DT. I also wouldn't be sold on Crompton just yet . . . Cut could come in and bring Ainge back to 2004 form. Rico McCoy is MLB, and Karl is OLB. Also, don't expect Corey Anderson to get yanked.

I hate to say it, but the combination of J Allen's season-ending injury and the lack of any notion of team chemistry will probably lead to people leaving for the NFL if they have the ability to do so.

We can all have our fantasy football lineup for next year. But who knows who will mesh with the new OC? Who knows who will tank NEXT year. I'd find it better saying just wait and see. Everyone was all on the Riggs bandwagon at the end of last year and look what happened? I have no clue who will start next year. I'm not going to say what my ideal lineup will be because all have performed subpar at one time or another and very few have stood out as being consistent enough to say they have the job next year. There's way too much time between now and April. Ainge could have an epiphany, Foster could play a pickup game of b-ball and do what seems to happen to anyone playing offseason, or who knows what?

The way these guys have played and as much as is up in the air, we'd all be treading into dangerous waters making any predictions this far from next year.....

What about the o-line? Everything starts and ends on the line for the offense, if you can't block, you can't move the ball. We have proven that time and again this year, as 'bama did on Saturday as well.

That said, you can't discount Coker for the RB position. He got a RS this year b/c Fulmer wanted to save a year of eligibility /w Riggs having the starting position locked up.

How about splitback sets with Coker and Foster, ala Cadillac and Ronnie Brown at Auburn? That way we don't have to deal with "Hands" Anderson. :boredom:

Great...

UNLV: 10 of 17 for 118 yds.
Florida: 16 of 24 for 192 yds.
La Tech: 10 of 15 for 198 yds.
Auburn: 17 of 35 for 173 yds. (4 INTs)
Georgia: 12 of 21 for 150 yds.
Ole Miss: 14 of 30 for 231 yds.
Alabama: 10 of 22 for 132 yds.
S.C.: 9 of 16 for 109 yds.

All the Ainge supporters (including Ainge) have hung their hat on the fact that HE beat Georgia last year. Given that our offense only managed 2 TD's, I'd have to give that win to our defense for holding Ga to only 14.

I think I might be the only fan who was nervous about this year before it ever started, and a big reason for that nervousness was Ainge's inconsistancy during his Freshman year that everyone thought was so stellar. 3 of the 8 games he played before his injury, his completion percentage was under 50%. So I'm hoping Cutcliff or whoever it is, can get him way beyond his 2004 form.

Although it doesn't seem like he's been here 4 years, I'm pretty sure Hannon is a Senior.

What ever happened to Bill Grimes? I thought he was supposed to be the bomb? And Lucas Taylor is listed as WR, yet every time he lines up in the offense, we hand it off to him. I don't think we've thrown one pass to him all year.

If you haven't noticed he has trouble holding onto the ball when it is coming at him in the air. Yet for some reason he is our kick returner.

I disagree at fullback, Anderson should and will be there.
