Starting lineup next year

They do need to step up, but to say that Woolridge or Maymon is the key to the whole season is stretching it a bit, imo. To me, the key is how good Tobias Harris is and how much he can contribute combined with how much Scotty Hopson progresses.

This.

I'd rather have Baby Pearl keep playing ten minutes than either Tobias fall flat on his face or Scotty remain stagnant.

If scotty doesnt improve this off season, he might not start. I hav a strong feeling that if it werent for end of season chemistry, he woulda got passed by cam tatum.

He could've bee passed by Tatum, but he's not having to compete with Tatum anymore. He only has to compete for playing time with the McRae and Skylar really, perhaps Bone.

Hopson will absolutely start next year. We need much more from him, but you can't recruit a 5 star player and not play him. We've seen that for the past two seasons.

Wooldridge is a very athletic kid who needs to get stronger and develop some ability to play in the post. We don't need him as a wing player as we have many other players who are better at the wing. I would love to see him work hard and become an effective post player. We need help in the post next year.

I still dont understand people's insistence that Woolridge is a 'very athletic' kid. He is not physically strong. He does not have a great vertical leap. He is nowhere near 'quick' or 'fast' so what does he posses that makes him a great athlete. He is an average athlete. Neither hampered nor helped much by his level of athleticism.

For a 6'9" kid, he is very athletic. However, being athletic does not always equate to being a good basketball player with basketball skills.
