CB - Daniel Gray

Subject to injuries substitute Miller instead of Williams, Brewer for Randolph, and Jones for Gray. Sapp probably not a starter either, but not sure who the other starting linebacker would be.

Keep dreaming if you think Dobbs will beat out Worley or Peterman.

Even if Dobbs is better. (Which his not.)

If Dobbs starts

Worley, Peterman and prob Riley will transfer.

We lose out on 3 Qb.

One, he is better. Two, its not like Worley or Peterman have game experience in this offense. Three, Worley/Peterman have both looked bad this spring. Neither one has taken over or mastered the offense. Four, no way all three leave and if they did so what? BJ has HIS qb (Dobbs) and will get more .

Yeah no biggie if they all transfer. Especially if dobbs gets hurt and there are no backup QBs. Yeah no big deal CBJ will just hold campus tryouts or go over to the intramural fields or maybe one will be laying on his frat house couch. Geez Louise...

I'm not saying he isn't going to be better but how can someone know Dobbs is already better than Worley and Peterman when he hasn't been through a practice yet.

No one would transfer till after the season and definitely not all 3. But you still think Dooley is a good coach who was wrongly fired so its not surprising you would say something like this.

Ive said Dooley never had the chance to prove if he is a good coach or not cause he came on board having to deal more with AD type stuff and never had the opportunity to be only a HC. Not surprised that you wouldn't comprehend that train of thought though when u r thinking that it's no big deal if 3 QBs were to transfer either this yr or next.

1. He MAY be better but who knows at this point?

2. Neither does Dobbs but Worley and Peterman have at least been in a college program.

3. I'm pretty sure recent practice reports are saying Worley and Peterman are looking much better.

I'm not saying one way or the other who starts, just that nothing is certain at this point for sure.

My Take:

QB- Worley
RB- Neal
FB/TE: Justin King
WR- Blanc
WR- Croom
WR- Young
OT- Tiny
OT- James
OG- Fulton
OG- Jackson
OC- Stone

Defense:

DE- Jacques Smith
DT- McCullers
DT- Couch
DE- Jordan Williams
OLB- Brent Brewer
MLB- AJ Johnson
OLB- Curt Maggitt
CB- Justin Coleman
CB- Riyahd Jones
SS- Byron Moore
FS- Brian Randolph/LaDarrell McNeil

Kicker: Palardy
Punter: Palardy

This is really close to what I would think too at this point. North/Harris/Jenkins could be in the mix by the time the season starts. Sapp will likely fight w/ Brewer for LB spot and Maggitt may slide down to end quite often. Palardy=punter but I don't know if he holds onto kicking job.

I thought this board could use a break from the vandy news of the day and the terrorist threat in Athens, TN.

If you had to guess the starting 22 and the kicker and punter.....what would the lineup be?

Brewer will play LB, Randolph definitely at safety, Sapp will start- had best Spring of any defensive player according to CBJ.

One of my favorite gifs, but I won't be surprised to see it deleted. I think it breaks a board rule.

posts are only deleted when i post in a vollygirl thread when not breaking any board rules or posting anything inflamatory.

in that case, it's game on.

And not surprised my pt went over ur head...

...but again u r someone that thinks it would be no biggie if CBJ were to need to spend more than 1 scholly on a QB next year.

Saw Marlon Walls walking to class today on crutches and a boot on his foot. Not sure what happened but hopefully it's minor and he'll be back soon.

edit: Forgot about his old Achilles injury, I really hope that hasn't come back
